I am wondering what the people at this forum consider to be the best all around ship for its cost and effectiveness in combat. my personal favorite is the rapier, its cost is relativly cheap but it packs a large punch when grouped in three's. what does everyone else think?

how did you do that? incase you didnt notice i have been a loyal follwer of EV/EVO/EVN for quite some time but am new to the boards.
either way. cost for effectivness its all about the rapier. think about it. you can get like 8 for the price of a kestreland in combination with the torpedoes and heavy rockets its probaly the most effective ship in EV in my opinion.
Kaos is only as bad as the person who brings it on.

How did I do what? And yeah, I agree, the Rapier kicks. Small gunships are the way to go .

Best overall would be the Rebel Destroyer for me, but if you've got tons of cash to spare I'd go for the Rebel Cruiser.

If you dont be alert every second and skilled enough to dogge every Missile, you explode in two hits, three if you have Armaplast. Conclusion: Defender speed is not worth the impossible skills reguired to fly it. Try to do the Rebel Mars- to Levo mission with that. The defender, because yeah if it may be hard to pilot it can be worth it I mean I took out a Ketrel with it, Clippers are also really good.
