    • I got EV when it first game out off of the Ambrosia website, but I never frequented the boards until later (and then it wasn't the EV boards, but the other ones).

    • Hello, I'm Karl. I'm 19 and I've been playing EV since '97 when my buddy shoved a stack of floppies into my hands and said, "You've got to play this game man!" There was a brief pause in the frenzy when Norton corrupted the data files and the game crashed whenever I jumped into any system.

And then he did laugh most evilly, and the planet of Mososuis did split in half, with one half becoming the moon, and the other half, bearing all its inhabitants, did fly into the sun. Yes." -from the Book of Relics, planet Rikka

    • I've been here too long, I haven't played EV so much of the time... but rather ended up in #ev late in 96 or something, and have spent loads of time there, if anything I am addicted to IRC. As for EV, I first saw it when summer started in 96, and played through it towards the end of the summer, and latter that fall/winter I found the boards and my way to irc.

    • Hi, I'm AarG, 35, and I've been playing EV/O/N on and off since the initial release too many years ago (back when Ambrosia had their own forum on AOL). My "production" Mac (a 1997 PowerBase overclocked within an inch of its life and upgraded beyond all reason) just gave up the ghost, so I'm in negotiations with the wife to move my games on to her shiny new iBook. Bribery has failed to this point, and demanding tribute would be a real bad move...

Never ask Tripps that. He's naturally weird. 😉

I'm Joseph, 16 years of age, and have been playing EV since late 1996 (the days when I couldn't concentrate on my school simply because I couldn't wait to purchase a Rebel Destroyer...). EV has gone from a IIci to a G4 at my house. 😉
