Well, any ideas? Here's mine

1. You don't twitch and look at the scanner when that klaxon goes.

2. Or even put down your mug of tea.

3. You start fights floating sideways on to the target cruiser.

4. When on assassanination missions, you don't notice the other ships.

5. Kestrel Pirates don't even bother!

6. Knocked out that torpedo cruiser? Can't be bothered? Ach, just blow it up. You don't need the money.

That's all I can think of for now. NB, it when you're GOOD, not when you've been playing for too long!

BTW, my first EV was (I think) the 1.0.0b, got it on a free CD with MacWorld - it had a 'ship guide' in the actual magazine, which was wildly innacurate.

I received Escape Velocity with a MacAddict CD, I believe...It could have been Mac World, though. It was version 1.0.0, with amazing graphics!

12. Get tired of beating the game in a corvette, so you go down to rapeir, then to lightning, then to (insert cheapest ship you can beat the game with here).
Personally I can beat it in a scout ship, i dont think a shutle craft is possible, (try tag in a shuuttle, others may be, but i doubt it, alien mission can be done, but not sure if the rest can be, havent tried) and i know a defender is not able to complete them. Never tried in a courier, it is easy in an agrosy and imposible in a bulk freighter (i tried the alien mission in one, loaded out, with good armor and a f***in ton of torps... it had to much shields still, couldnt bring them down, after wasin all of the torps.) anyway.
