I realize that this is not really an ev question, but because of the comunity that this web board attracts (mac oldies, i have been usin macs since the '80s, and have had ev since it came out, and realize that many of you have also. As of late however i have not been very active in either the mac or escape velocity comunity.) Because of this I think that perhaps one of you will be able to answer my question. I am intrested in knowing a good source of vintage 68k mac parts, specifically a ethernet card or external adapter for a performa 475. Now i believe that one of those two products was made for a short time. I would be intrested if anyone knew where i could procure either of these two items. Also, what is the most comprehensive used mac retailor, i am curious because of a specific project that i am undertaking. And I would prefer if noone told me to get a Imac, a G4, G4 cube or any other modern solution. I already have a G4, i just want to be able to network the old 68k mac. Also on this topic, the performa 475 shipped with the 68LC040 chip with a partial FPU. Does anyone know it upgrade processors/logic boards are still available? Thanks and sorry about any grammer and/or spelling mistakes.
Thanks,
Joe
