You must be joking. The Contra Rebels, the Mujahedeen rebels, the columbian rebels, shining path rebels, tamal tiger rebels, and so on. Confed rebels is just one of many. I recall that the preferred term nowadays is terrorist instead of rebel
Anyway, the us civil war does not fit the causes of the EV civil war laid out in the introduction.

Since their chief grievence was being oppressed and denied representation in the senate, I expect they will keep the current confed government structure, add themselves to the senate (where they become the majority), and vote themselves a large infusion of cash and privileges. The defeated confed military will be absorbed into the rebel military. Business will continue as usual.
