Sigh. I've answered too many questions on Windows Coldstone for my liking. In the faq, if you read all the questions, I have stated the following:

From the CS FAQ:
**
Currently, no, there are no plans to release a Windows version of the CGE editor.**

a version of the editor has been made for internal testing by Beenox, but it will not be released due to stability issues, compatability problems and of course the fact that other projects take up Beenox's time now. Coldstone is now, and for the foreseeable future will remain a Mac only product. You can of course compile games for Windows, but the editor itself will not be released on the platform.
Perhaps people find the actual answer itself confusing, though Andrew/David clearly state that the editor is Macintosh only. I've edited now, and the answer is as follows:

**
The game editor itself (Coldstone) is Macintosh-only. There are currently no plans to release a Windows-native version of the editor, however the Coldstone developer tool can compile games to be played on Windows, Mac Classic (pre OS X), or Mac Carbon (post OS X) machines.
It's as simple as checking which platforms you're targeting when you compile your project.**
I hope that is a bit clearer for people now.
