Exactly how I feel...but come on man this isn't even an argument or debate anymore it's set in stone, there are MP
in the engine. This topic has provided a great source of input as many have, that's probably why it hasn't been locked but now...

Yes...however is it not the main focus of the Magic system to be point based...so isn't it "set" .
By no means do I plan to do the conventional or the intended with the engine .

    • But it doesn't have to be the main thing! So this arguement has purpose! Life! Substance!

    • speaking of spell points(although lately we haven't been)...
I was curious if we could make a certain attack drain the spell points from the player instead of life, or of both.. for example:

The Spectral Ancient claws Daishana swiftly, draining her spell casting ability.. is it possible?

I wasn't asking for it in FF terms chill... and don't just think that mp drain is only found in FF, there are mana drain monsters in Diablo2(maybe D1, who knows...) and something of the sort in BG2(it doesn't drain spell pts of course, but drains memorized spells)

    • ..so is mp draining possible?
