Don't feel bad, Mouse, I thought Exile III and Blades of Exile were great games too. I just thought that it wasn't all balanced with fighters and magic users.And it was kind of (REALLY) difficult. I think I beat a scenario from one of them though and it was fun.

to mouse: i think this can be achieved with a global event and a variable set not to exceed the number of slots available for his/her level....Meaningcreate a basic object
Have it add 1-whatever to the variable (which has a limit)
attach this to the when equipped action (if you don't know you'll find out soon)
thusly the object will take up said amount of space, and if it exceeds the limit have it play asound, and throw up a dialog box....The actual process of accomplishing this should be mechanically similar...
