Okay here they are, sorry if they seem dumb: I'm playing as a ranger in trinity with World of Chaos, DiD,
How do I cast spells? I have 'learnt' the spells when advancing levels, how do I cast (i nought ingredients too)
what do I do with all those green toadstools? I tried eating one, did damage to me.
Where is upper berglum?
what do I do with boot polish, etc?
I found a sword shaft (de diabolus) no other parts else....any tips?

Hi chewy, I think I've got you're answers!
1. The spellbook can be opened by pressing 'c'. You should see the list of spells and necessary ingredients then.
2. You'll find out later, but for now, if they hurt you, maybe you shouldn't eat them 
3. Well, the name suggests that it's near Berglum, and upper you should be able to figure out (though it doesn't just mean above :))
4. Well, polish your boots of course! What else would you do with it?
5. When you need to find the other parts you'll be given clues. Or you could just go poking in the bushes right now, but that would take a really long time.
Don't worry about the stupidity of questions, we've all asked a few of those. We're pretty easy-going here.

Small correction: The Ranger can access the skills panel by pressing "V" . This information is, of course, given in the Trinity Manual which is worth reading. 
Rangers do not cast spells but can make potions to do things. Conjurers do cast spells which are also accessed with the "V" key and re-cast with the "C" key without needing to re-open the spell book.
The necessary ingredients can be purchased from a merchant three squares north of Fantrima or in a hidden village north of the North Gidolan tunnel entrance.
And to expand on what MickyBIs said in the post script, you will need to complete all the quests of Spells Expander before you can start any quests for World of Cha0s.
Green Mushrooms? Eat as many as you feel comfortable doing ( 
), but don't throw them away.

Cut him some slack, moUSE EE loiDE UZI, he's new here. I am sure your post did not make him feel more welcome, and we do want to welcome new members. Besides, often a search will reveal more information than the player wants and spoils the fun of discovery of other aspects of the game or plugin.
If everybody used the search feature effectively, there would be no new posts until the next plugin or update appeared. I, for one, do not mind answering questions like those over again, why should you mind my doing so?
