I'm making a Sketchfighter plug-in for Nova. Everything was going fine until I realized that I had no way to convert the three or four sounds I need to a format that Nova will recognize. Is there any way I can convert .aiff files for Nova? I have Classic and ResEdit, but I don't have any sound editing applications.

Okay. Thank you! Look for results soon!

FYI, .aiff is fairly similar to .wav, and the two can be converted back and forth easily. It's just a simple, uncompressed sound format.

And this affects conversion to system sound format how?
By the way, since I'm posting in this topic, everything worked very well. Thanks for the links, guys!

It's just something that might be useful to know someday.

AIFF isn't necessarily uncompressed though - typically it is but there are a few compression types it supports. System sound on the other hand is very similar to AIFF.
