    • Of Sounds and Sketchfighter

I'm making a Sketchfighter plug-in for Nova. Everything was going fine until I realized that I had no way to convert the three or four sounds I need to a format that Nova will recognize. Is there any way I can convert .aiff files for Nova? I have Classic and ResEdit, but I don't have any sound editing applications.

    • Get SoundApp from this topic.

    • Yup, also check out the audio guide in my sig for usage and stuff 🙂

    • Okay. Thank you! Look for results soon!

    • FYI, .aiff is fairly similar to .wav, and the two can be converted back and forth easily. It's just a simple, uncompressed sound format.

And this affects conversion to system sound format how?

By the way, since I'm posting in this topic, everything worked very well. Thanks for the links, guys!

    • It's just something that might be useful to know someday.

    • AIFF isn't necessarily uncompressed though - typically it is but there are a few compression types it supports. System sound on the other hand is very similar to AIFF.
