Lasekoda -- make it kind of close to Sirgil
The third planet colonized by the United People of Sirgil, this planet was one of the most technologically advanced UPS colonies during the early phases of exploration, surpassed only by Sirgil itself. Unfortunately, the aggressive and exploitative mining the Sirgilese (or whatever the adjective is) used to strip the planet of its bountiful resources made it a wasteland, with almost all the metal reserves depleted through hundreds of years of thoughtless plunder. This was compounded by a few "accidents" caused by poorly maintained nuclear energy facilities. After the Sirgilese finally abandoned it, ComTec took over and are still managing to turn a profit from scavenging the remains of the numerous mines for equipment and melting down or selling what they find. They also maintain the outfit shop and shipyard to augment their revenues further.

This planet's bar is packed with poor former mine laborers, most now scavenging for ComTec, who almost to a man look sick from the polluted air outside. The drink-serving equipment looks extremely dated and unhygienic, and the automated drink mixers left over from the planet's technological heyday are using materials that don't look too healthy. You decide not to buy anything from here.
Large, red planet
High-tech outfit shop, high-tech shipyard
Commodity exchange -- food, high; metal, low; equipment, low; pick the rest as you wish

Miyoda -- second planet in Lasekoda's system
After the mines on Lasekoda started to run out, the Sirgilese, not learning from their mistakes on Lasekoda, started mining the slightly smaller planet Miyoda. The mines here, although rich, were not as profitable as the ones on Lasekoda, and much of the expensive mining equipment was wasted; when the UPS started losing massive amounts of money on the planet, they handed it over to ComTec. Now, ComTec continues to mine the planet, in a more profitable, efficient, and "environmentally friendly" way, selling and melting down the old Sirgilese equipment to supplement the mining income. The planet remains at a low technology level, but the efficient ComTec mining operations keep the economy running.

The miners who occupy this bar look much healthier than those on Lasekoda, not least because of the cleaner air and largely automated work (thanks to retrofitted Sirgilese equipment). The bar is not as packed, either; apparently, the happier employees here don't need to drown themselves in drink. Overall, it is a very friendly and clean place.
Medium, red planet
No outfit shop or shipyard
Commodity exchange -- food, medium; metal, low; equipment, low; pick the rest as you wish

Bariloda -- moon anywhere in the system
When the Lasekoda mines ran out, the Sirgilese scouted this moon as well, looking for metal deposits under the water that covers most of the world. They found none, and ceded the useless moon to ComTec along with the two planets in the system. Upon taking the planet, ComTec -- never people to let a possible profit go by -- found a different kind of treasure in the deeps of the moon's oceans, a very tasty and healty seaweed variant that grows abundantly in the water. The company, not wanting to depend on equipment manufactured by. Now the moon, other than the small, clean factories that sparsely dot the surface, looks as pastoral as it ever did -- and still makes huge amounts of money for ComTec from the sale of the food.
Moon, water
