GordonTron, edit your post. In other words, turrets will be useless against this ECM sounds like it is invincibler. Please edit your post.

Gordontron pulls his hair out. My gosh I spent a lot of time discussing it with Sole, not to mention a ton of time researching it. I thought I made this very clear in this thread when I was discussing it. Here is what we said:
"My objective witht he cloak was not to make it invisiable. It was an atempt to thweart SAD missiles and turrets. How about the upgrade makes it hard to target by scrambling the enemy ship's sensors and targeting system. Thus the enemy can still attack with guns, and straight firing missiles. But since it isn't cloaked it can still fight with guns/turrets but no projectiles or fighters may be emmited when it is being used. Since it is slightly like a cloaking device it will drain fuel, but much slower than before since it can be more easily fired at. Furthermore how about it is completed on the 10th so that it is very effective?"- Me
"Gordontron, that sounds good. I think you're trying to make an ECM (electronic counter measures)) systemthere are some available in the gameto jam enemy tracking weapons? Am I right? If so, that is perfectly fine, and it need not drain fuel if you are researching it all the way to the 10th! Indeed, if you spend that much time on it, it would be extremely effective at jamming tracking weapons guidance systems, much better than any available in the game. As with any regular outfit, you could certainly still fire while it was running, since you would normally have it running at all times as a precaution. " Sole
"right then but I just want to say that it goes far, far beyond the ecm system (which sucks by the way). Besides jaming missiles it jamms turrets. I think you understand that but I don't want to have to argue after I have spent so much time on it. If it does not need to drain fuel then i will take that requirement out. "- Me
"Looks good Gordontron. " -Sole
-----
If, if some how this was a big miss understanding I will need some compensation from this tech that I researched for a long time.

Gordontron did spend a large amount of time on that. However, when you get into any battles Gordontron, just make sure you factor in that your system cannot be completely perfect, and that some turret and missile fire (although much less than normal) will get through. And besides--rockets and cannons can still work with it. I'm sure people can figure out some ingenious stuff.
So yeah. As long as you factor that in during battles you will still take some hits from missiles and turrets, although less than otherwise, you'll be fine.
However, some other stuff needs to be addressed. For reconfiguring ship production rates to reflect the production of your new ships, Gordontron and Xenocide and whoever else this applies to, you just need to take your initial fleet production (which is your maximum ship production with the systems you have) and take away some of the production from what you now have and put it instead towards, say, the G2 Azdara. The redistribution should reflect fairness, and should be based on the relative powers of your ships. For example, if you make a warship twice as powerful as the initial one, and you were initially only making 10 warships and wanted now to make 3 of these new ones per RTD, you would do the following:
10 Warships per RTD
New constrution:
4 Warships
3 NG Warships (which would be the equivalent of 6 warships)
This way, your production remains balanced.
Editted out the bit about Crescent Station.

Agreed. I will use about 90 percent effective jaming for missiles and homing pods, and 85 percent effective jaming for turrets.
Oh and just to let you know that should have been todays post so I will start the outfiting now instead of yesterday.
Like I said above it would be nice if people described their new ships. Also like I said above reverse engineering should have some limits.

Agreed. Everyone is to post ship descriptions is they design new ones.
Gordontron; Read my post again. I added some stuff that's relevant to you.

Also, this is revoked:
I assume you mean Council Station in the Gadzair system. This station is the equivalent of Switzerland in Europe: it's neutral in the Strand War, and is not controlled by either of the three. Therefore, if it is Council Station you are referring to, this is not possible. If you want to make a station like what you described, just do so somewhere else, and spend the same amount of time. But Council Station is neutral ground, controlled by no one.

It already exists. He means Crescent Station in the Kade system. Found near the Adzgari space, it is at the edge of the galaxy. It is the station you trash in Beyond the Crescent.

Ah. Thanks much then. I'll check a map later today just to be sure.
Gordontron, go ahead with your Crescent Station then, unless I find a problem with the map.
Sorry about the confusion all.

The desc is different. No need to check. One of the phrases is "Maintained by the Adzgari under the orders of the Council..." while Council Station has "Any delivery you make is taken by robotic machines..."

So if someone makes 10 Voinian Heavy Fighters per day then comes out with a smaller, lighter, and cheaper ship he could make 7 Heavy Fighters and 7 Interceptors. (I actually asked about this a week back and got no response, so I assumed it was good so I'm just double checking)

Ok I will do that from now on. I tried to use Seleria but sometimes I forgot. Oh and I call Vonark Paranoid, but only when I am thinking.

kauthor It's Qerid, and there's only a station there.
For anyone who has problems with my Cruiser design, the armor increase from that of the game's Cruiser is due to the Dospect plating, and I will point out it is quite possible to achieve the outfits by sacrificing all blaze weapons, rockets, and perhaps some cargo space.

Take a line from any Star Wars movie. Replace certain words with 'spank':
"The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Spank."
"Queen Amidala is young and naive; you will find spanking her not too difficult." "And what of the Jedi?" "She should never have brought them into this. Spank them immediately."

Gordontron, you spelled my email address right on your post, but I have not gotten the email yet, so I wonder if you spelled it wrong when you tried to send it? Maybe you put a period after "ca" like you did in this post, because it isn't supposed to be there.
kauthor: I left my character waiting for you, and next thing I know, you are sending a reply to Gordontron about what I am supposed to have delivered to you(which I still don't know what it is) but my character is still waiting to give you the message. Now I'm really confused....
Can you two help me clear this up?

Sorry Sleria I thought you just messed up on your email so I took out the .ca. Hotmail did not like it at first so I just removed it. Sorry for the inconvenience but I did not keep a copy of the email. You will have to ask Kauthor for it. Sorry about that it was late and I had to cram it in between about 20 other things I needed to do. If you could send me a copy also that would be nice. Now I am puzzeled. Ahh, and kauthor in your return email what are you talking about. Did you forget that I am the Azdgari? I know that Raigar is controlled by the Azdgari's (me).
Stupid me I should have kept a copy; oh well it will work out.

So kauthor, I need a copy of that, and to everybody who wants to email me in the future: My email address does not have a period after "ca", that seems to be causing trouble as well.
