Somewhere in deep space, away from all settlement, a rather large asteroid suddenly exploded. Racing out of the explosion was a solitary Crescent Fighter, which paused for a moment before entering hyperspace.

ESPilot disliked being called 'S1', it being only a letter and a number. But he got used to it. The ships were on patrol most of the time, and it was pretty boring. Once a Voinian Fighter jumped into the system, and ESPilot noticed something different about it. It was a more enlongated vessel than the first Heavy Fighter they fought, and moved much faster. It was less-armed and less-armored. Four Crescent Fighters swarmed it and destroyed it. ESPilot decided to report this back to Skyblade when he returned.

CF numbers were starting to stabilize, with over 200 constructed already. There were many variants: scout, light fighter, heavy fighter, gunship. The latter of those was outfitted with turbophase cannons (Skyblade has inspired me ;)), and had a phased beam on it for destroying any crescent ships that dared to invade. Gunships and scouts were flying through Crescent space, learning more about the galaxy...

Amy was now deep in the Ji Nebula, she was compleatly lost, she had no way of geting but to known space, after she had been traveling for a few weeks, she had now gone so far into the Ji Nedula that her scaners couldent see a thing. A couple more weeks and she would be out of fuel. But just as she uesd up her last fuel jump, she saw to Crescent Fighters and an Arada coming at her, been in a Crescent Warship she could have destroyed them, but the Arada captain hailed her he said "who are you, and what do you want?", "Please sir I am Amy, a need help and fuel.", "what is your mission here?", "I am here to see Captain Skyblade sir", "Very well you may land but you must go to P34 landing bay and we will talk there."

After a few weeks of travel, Skyblade and his small band of Crescent Fighters and Aradas had reached the outer western edges of the Voinian Empire (commonly known as the "Tientu" system to be exact). The system was quite empty of military vessels, much to Skyblade's surprise. But sure enough, a few Voinian supply vessels inahabited the nearby space.

"Those vessels are our targets, boys," Skyblade said across the comm channel. "Each of those ships is standardly armed with one neutron turret, so expect light resistance. Make sure you do not destroy the ships. Now move!"

Skyblade's fleet broke up, each delievering fire to the three supply ships. The shocked Voinian crews were stunned at such odd looking ships, and their neutron turrets could not make accurate hits against the swift alien fighters. Skyblade's Crescent Warship quickly overwhelmed one supply ship, and then assisted the other vessels of his fleet in disabling the remaining two supply ships. Soon enough, three fairly large ships of the Imperial Supply Corporation were drifting.

Since most of the ships in Skyblade's fleet had small crew numbers, it was up to the Triton Corsair II to board and capture the supply ships. The task was somewhat longer than expected, but the phase firearms silenced Voinian resistance. Soon enough, the supply ships were in the hands of Skyblade's fleet, captured with few losses.

"Mission secure," Skyblade radioed. "Head back to base immediately."

Skyblade's fleet surrounded the captured supply ships to provide escort while making the trip to Deneba. So far, everything was going just fine...

Azdara Ace was about to make the jumo to hyperspace, in the next system, or so he was told, was one Zidara, which he was supposed to kill. He glanced around, and wasn't surprised when he saw a group of Azdaras following him. He figured this would happen, and he was right, some of his Azdgari "buddies" were coming to watch. Azdara Ace made made the jump into hyperspace, hoping that e would have some serious luck.

RebelRunner: Tientu is located southwest of Voinia: In other words, very far away from United Earth forces. Your fleet would realistically be blasted away by the Voinians in attempting to make such a long journey through their territory. Tientu itself is a Voinian system in Override...

As promised, a Zidara was in the system. "Okay then, let's see if I can do this right." Millions of strategies blazed through Azdara Ace's mind, but one seemed to stick, "Dodge left, dodge right, shoot left, shoot right." Azdara Ace had upgraded the Blue Moon , so it now carried 6 dispersal rockets. Azdara Ace engaged the Zidigar fighters one by one, and was in quite good shape when it came time to face the Zidara. He still had all of his dispersal rockets, and had only minor system damage. Azdara Ace put the engines on half power, and headed straight towards the Zidara. Then, right before entered the Zidara's turret range, he hit full throttle and dropped off all six of his dispersal rockets. The Zidara didn't know what hit it. It's turrets completely lost the target because of the fact that most of the time they are set to track a ship's current trajectory and ETA, so mess up when a ship suddenly drastically changes it's speed and bearing. Often it will take about 5 seconds to retarget. The Zidara went to shields down, and Azdara Ace pulled a tight loop, bringing his guns to bear on the Zidara's bridge. In 5 seconds, the Zidara exploded into a fireball, that shor debris in every direction. Azdara Ace was victorious.

Skyblade's fleet arrived at Deneba roughly a week following the attack on the Tietnu supply vessels. All three captured ships made it back to base, and many of the Voinian crew members were shocked to find the former Admiral Skyblade ruling over them with a hostile hand.

Skyblade and his men were delighted when it came time to open the cargo holds of the supply ships. The ships carried practically everything necessary for the Voinian war effort, including hundreds of neutron small arms, many outfits standardly fitted to warships, as well as food and other supplies. The outfits were Skyblade's main goal, in which he could fit his own ships with the weapons to fight the loyal Imperial followers. The rockets, however, wouldn't last forever...

Seventeen of the twenty-three Voinians who were captured were surprisingly happy that their career with the Emperor was now over. They had viewed Skyblade as a fine, patriotic commander during his days with the Voinian Navy, and now vowed to assist him in the fall of the Emperor in any way possible. The remaining five Voinians were stashed in a thick cargo pod until their stomachs had a different answer.

Now, time to plan mission number two...

ESPilot walked up to Skyblade and said "Captain, I have an idea for the rockets. I keep a team of engineers on my ship for analyzing stolen weaponry if necsessary, since I've taken on such assignments, but that's not my actual plan. If we could take off a small amount of the explosives and put in a guidance system similar to those of the Pursuit Missiles on my warship, we could have a very effective weapon against these slow-moving ships."

Hizdriar may be a place of immense brawls, but rarely is it the location of actual warfare. Today, it was. A building suspected to be the planetary headquarters of the Chispo Conglomerate, a suspected renegade front, was bombed in the late morning, local time. The Zachit Defense Force has confirmed the destruction of the building, but they have denied any responsibiliy for the act. The Zachit have been patrolling the Hizdriar system more frequently recently, citing growing renegade activity in the region.

I'm very impressed with what you're doing here, Cpt. Skyblade. The way you've kept the integrity of a webstory while bringing almost no seasoned writers into it and making it public-friendly is truly inspiring. I'm sure it's a lost cause since you haven't decided on your own to come, but i'd love it if you would stop by (assuming you haven't sometime before) the WDC board, or even look into joining our upcoming story. Aben Zin had been wandering aimlessly around the Galaxy for almost 2 years now- never staying in one reigon of space for more than a month.
He earned his pay as a Bounty Hunter, living on the edge of the law. He made neither friends nor commitments, other than the contract on the ship he was after.
The Changeling had changed a great deal since it had left UE space. It was still just recognisable as a UE fighter, but the heavy blaze cannons had gone. Under it's stubby wings were sleek but deadly phase cannons. At the rear was a blackened afterburner.
To compensate for the additional fuel usage two scoops were fitted. It seemed to move differently as well- faster and more manoverable.
But the main difference was the colour. It was Black. Completely black. When in space it looked moved like a shadow- visable only as a hole amidst the stars.
As payment for a particually difficult kill it had even been fitted with a sensor cloak- This provided Zin with an element of surprise which had proved vital on so many occasions.

Currently Zin was nursing a Double Vodka in the bar on Mira. He was heading north in search of fresh work. The last thing he expected was someone looking for him on peaceful Mira.
A stranger sidled up to him. He was completely cowled in long flowing robes- no portion of his face could be seen. He spoke in a hushed whisper.
"Captain Zin. We hear you are willing to kill for money. This is good. We have money."
Zin stared at where he judged the man's face to be. There was something somehow unsettleing about that voice- as though it came from a long way off. It continued.
"We also wish someone killed. We are offering 5 million credits."
5 Million! The most he had been offered before was 800K, and that was for a fair sized war-fleet. He tried to disguised his surprise.
"That's a lot of money. What's the Target?"
"Your... Target... is the Triton Corsiar 2. We want no survivors."
Zin almost gasped. Memories swam back to him. He tried to stay focused.
"That's not going to be easy,"
"The pay reflects the difficulty of the task. Do you accept?"
Zin sat silent for a second.
"Yes. 1 fifth up front, the rest on proof of kill. Do we have a deal?"
"Agreed."
From his robe the figure pulled out a cred stick. 1 Million. Zin check it carefully- it seemed genuine. He turned to ask where to find his new prey, but the figure had disappeared.

"Well, I could if I have to," Azdara Ace said as confidently as he could.
"Okay, but you don't need to do that." Azdara Ace let out a long sigh of relief. "You were scared, weren't you. Hehe." The Azdgari gave a genuine smile this time. "Okay then, Azdara Ace, we are accepting you into the Azdara Academy. I must say that you are not as good as most Azdgari pilots, but your piloting skills are unbelievable for a human. Congratulations!" Azdara Ace prepared for the worst, and just hoped that he could graduate from the Azdara Academy.

Starkiller cursed the government of Hizdriar. They had chosen to, in the first time in history, actually try to do something about the problems on their planet. This had the unfortunate side effect of denying Starkiller access to the commercial ways off the planet. Starkiller had chosen not to fly his ship to Hizdriar, deeming it too dangerous. A thought came into his head, and he strode towards the spaceport.

The Azdara Academy was, well, filled with Azdgari. Azdara Ace got more than a few toothy grins, but he quickly made some friends. His best friend, Rackzra, was an Azdgari that had red streaks running down his cheeks. His teeth were very long, which made him very attractive to other Azdgari. He thought Azdara Ace a little funny, and very fat, even though Azdara Ace was in excellent shape for a human. The reason for Rackzra saying that was the fact that Azdara Ace was about twice as heavy as an average Azdgari.

Amy: Nothing wrong with you attempting to locate my position, but your vessel would have been immediately destroyed upon entering the Deneba system. My ship patrols were ordered to destroy an unknown vessel immediately.

"I like the idea, ESPilot," Skyblade said as he studied his idea. "Our persuit missiles are swift, and if we could pack them with extra explosives, they would wreck havoc on Imperial vessels."

"That's the plan," ESPilot responded. "Of course, we have a limited number of persuit missiles as well, but we have less rockets. It'd be best to follow through with using the persuits. If we can get a foothold in Voinian territory in the future, we'll have access to additional weapons."

"Agreed," Skyblade applied. "I like the plan. Follow through with it."

Days later, while the captured Voinians were assisting Skyblade and his men in upgrading the persuit missiles with extra explosives, ESPilot told about his encounter with a new Voinian fighter.

"Does it have some resemblance of the Heavy Fighter?" Skyblade asked curiously.

"Yes sir. It seemed like a smaller, stretched version, with much more speed and less firepower than the Heavy Fighter we encountered weeks ago. I would have attempted to disable and capture the craft, but my patrol was forced to destroy it."

"Don't worry about," Skyblade said in an interested tone. "We can always get our hands on another one."

Skyblade stood and directed his attention to ten of his Voinian crew members. "You guys up to helping me with an additional mission against the Emperor?"

They all seemed delighted at the sound. Skyblade was more than happy that he wasn't the only rebel against Imperial rule...

"Alright then. We take one of the supply ships without any escort to Voinian territory tommorow. Since we're all Voinians, getting through security shouldn't be a big deal."

Skyblade's engineers were also working on creating an alternate version of the neutron cannon. The weapon fired slow, deadly bolts. But since Skyblade's fleet consisted of swift vessels, they would need a fast, beamed weapon which could devestate armor as well as shields. The engineers' goal was to make the neutron cannon fire bursts of turbocharged energy at much higher rates.

"ESPilot, you're in charge once again while I'm gone. Since you aren't Voinian, the mission would put you in danger anyway."

"I understand sir," ESPilot responded. "I'll oversee the work of our engineers, and make sure that we have patrols up at all times."
