Amy looked to the horizon and sighed, all her life she had been a renegade and now she was shipless and moneyless. A renegade life was a surisingly good life, with lots of danger but lots of money, but now with this new leader she was shunned aside, she had been a great leader herself once.

That day had now been so long ago, she was just a frighter captain now, in an ugly old ship. But today as UE fighters flew past, a ship hailed her, the Captain's voice came over the microphone, he asked that she come to miranu space with him, "Ok" I said.............

ESPilot thought about this for a moment. He'd heard about the Voinians from Miranu traders. They were apparently very violent and had massive and powerful warships, but they claimed that an ordinary Arada could fly loops around their fighters, and likewise with a Crescent Warship and one of their warships. They also claimed that, after seeing them battle the primitive ships of the Emalgha, a race just south of the far western Miranu planets, they had little shields but extremely thick alloys built into the hulls. Some of the crewmembers of his ship even said Skyblade was a Voinian. Well, ESPilot thought, Every race has to have its rebels. Like Genriot...He pushed the though out of his mind. Such backstabbers don't bare thinking about. They were entering hyperspace into the next system, apparently heading west.

Rebelrunner, the newswman/UE general, was found in a Miranu Hospital 2 yrs after the destruction of his fighter. He bought a Crescent Warship ship, which he christened the Flying Blue Cow. he built up a Fleet called the Strandless Protectorate, Which maintained peace in the northeastern part of the galaxy. It was a powerful fleet,a and the entire galaxy saw what they saw via cameras.

Currently in orbit around the Council Station, he waits for an agressive move made by any race of the galaxy. He is ready.

Unless he had run into complications, Skyblade's fleet should have been well beyond the Ji Nebula, and northwest of the Voinian Empire. What he had found and explored remained a mystery, except to Skyblade, of course...

Amy was now just entering miranu space, when a small fleet started firing at her, but being in a slow freighter she could not fight back, suddenly a large ship jumped into the system and destroyed the fleet, the captain hailed her "you watch yourself now okay", but before she could answer he was gone.

Amy was now sitting in the luxurious bar on Mira, the Captain who had hailed her in UE space (known as Angi) was with her "I'm here to ofer you a job with the Azdgri", "what kind of job?", "one you won't regret", "Yes but what KIND of job?", "we can't talk here, come to the south tip with me", "Why?", "I told you we can't talk here", "ok but first I'm getting a new ship".

'If hes Azdgari, then what were those other ships that were firing at me?'. But the ships alarm koxen broke thrue Amys thourts, "Ahhhhhhggggggg damn Voinians......... wait voinians? what are thay doing this deep in space?". Amy cheaked her target again, thay were voinians allright. Amy swiftly destroyed them with her Crescent warship but when't to earth as soon as she could.

"This is not right Sir, I've never seen a voinian fleet that far away from theire owen space." Amy was now back on earth talking to McPherson. "I'm sorry i can't let you go back". said McPherson, "It was nice seeing you again Amy but I must go".

ESPilot saw something off in the distance. It was small and shaped like an enlongated diamond. It had a diamond-shaped red reinforced glass cockpit window, and when he had the view magnified he could see a projectile launcher of some sort, and two small protrusions from the sides. Obviously the primary weapons. But what caught his eye were the two people piloting the fighter. "Captain Skyblade sir, I have a small fighter on visual screen, apparently piloted by two Voinians. Shall we engage it?"

After the encounter with the voinian fleet, Amy and Angi went to the south tip. They were now in the bar "You're not really azdgari are you" said Amy, "How did you guess?" said Angi, "One you don't look like an azdgari, two you have a renegade tatoo, that only renegades wear, I myself have one from my old days", "Very good, now tell me where I can find Skyblade", "I don't know what you're talking about", "Oh yes you do" said Angi holding a plasma gun to her chest, "come on tell me", "I DON'T EVEN KNOW HIM" Amy kicked him, pulled out her crstal gun, and shot him dead.

Azdara Ace was wrong. As soon as he got back to Azdgari, his Azdara "friend" informed that before he could learn to fly an Azdara, he would have to take out a Zidara, alone. Azdara Ace agreed to the proposition.

Skyblade took a look at the intruding fighter after receiving ESPilot's message. "That is a Voinian Heavy Fighter, S1. Why we've seen one this far in unexplored space is beyond me, but we certainly should investigate."

The Voinian Heavy Fighter had obviously spotted Skyblade's fleet. Since the Voinians had most likely never seen such odd vessels, the fighter immediately headed toward them. Moments after Skyblade gave the order to split up, neutron fire and rockets filled the space where the Aradas and Crescent Fighters once were.

"Engage!" Skyblade ordered.

The Crescent Fighters responded swiftly, circling behind the Voinian Heavy Fighter and pounding it with phase fire. The Aradas did the same, adding dispersal rockets to the trapped fighter. Moments later, the Voinian drifted and exploded. Skyblade could only hope that the fighter had not reported his sightings to the Voinians...

"Check one," S1 announced.

"Roger that," Skyblade replied as he watched the remains of the Voinian fighter drift into the unknown depths of the cosmos. Something had disturbed him about the engagement with the Voinian Heavy Fighter, however. It took too much time. Far too much time to destroy.

"S1, it seems as though our phase weapons have a disadvantage," Skyblade said over the fleet comm channel.

"That so?" He responded. "What do you have in mind?"

"The enemy fighter. It took too long to destroy."

S1 waited a few seconds before responding. "Took too long, what do you mean? I would think that the little fighter would have taken longer to destr-"

Skyblade interrupted. "Yes, I know. But I've flown those things, and I know how lightly protected they are. Human blaze weapons would have taken it out in a third of the time our phase weapons did. Voinian vessels are protected primarily by armor. Phase weapons excel in the destruction of shields, not armor. If we do go to war with the Voinian anytime soon, we will have to get our hands on another weapon."

Moments later, Skyblade's fleet entered hyperspace, baring southwest.

OOC: Wow, did I miss a lot. You can put into effect my old "I send a scoutship to the Zidagar" post now. I now have access to the Crescent fighter and all assorted weapons, including the Phased Beam.

Asriel finally had a good ship. His commandos had returned from the Voinian bases before the rebellion (thanks, Skyblade :)) with better weapons, and ship designs that could be modified. The next order was strengthening their defenses. Gurado's shipyard, which were now controlled by the Emalgha, were to start cranking out Crescent Fighters at top speed. There would be many variants of them showing up...

First, a very fast scout appeared in Miranu space. It was based on the CF design, but was Emalghian. It was armed with two swivel phase cannons, and was outfitted with extra fuel tanks and fuel scoops.

Shortly after that, a heavy fighter appeared patrolling the Voinian border, armed with neutron cannons and rockets to combat Voinian armor. Production was at an all-time high...

"We have a report from our Deep Space Surveillance Network that a Voinian fighter was attacked and destroyed."

"So?"

"It was attacked by other Voinians"

"Alright. Keep me posted"

RebelRunner went to his quarters.

"Computer, contact Admiral McPherson, the Council, and the ruling bodies of both Igadzra, Zacha, and Miranu. Tell them to contact me if any aggression is made by any unknow parties"

"Commencing" The computer beeped.

"I have a terrible feeling about this..........

By the time Skyblade's fleet had to stop in order to regenerate fuel for additional jumping, they were deep in the unknown space behind the Voinian Empire. It was about time to start searching for a good base...

Amy was now siting in the south tip bar alone, "Skyblade skyblade......... that name sounds so familiar......... wait Captain Skyblade, now I remember, I met him once, he was working for the Zachit......... I have to warn him, but where is he?".

Amy was on her way to miranu space, when again she saw a voinian, but just one ship, a voinian heavy fighter, Amy knew it was easy to destroy them but somthing held her back, she decided to jump out of the system straight away.

Amy was now on the Zachit station, talking to an officer of the Zachit, he said that Skyblade had gone off into the Ji Nebula, "OK thanks" said Amy and left.

The base was now secure. Skyblade and his fleet had landed on a planet with an evironment friendly to Voinians and aliens alike, and had named it Deneba (for any of you Golden Horizon members who get on to me about Carno using this name before, just remember he took the idea from me ;)). Small though the planet was, it would provide excellent hiding for possibly future rebel forces.

During the third day following the completion of the base, Skyblade was ready for action.

"We all remember our engagement with the Heavy Fighter, correct?" All the pilots seemed to respond with a yes.

"Our weapons seemed harmless against the vessel, and I'm not prepared to continue fighting Voinians with them. We first need to get our hands on a few... things."

The following day (which is twenty hours on Deneba), Skyblade's fleet was again on the move, and this time heading directly east. One of the Aradas and two Crescent Fighters were left behind to keep an eye on the base. Skyblade could only hope that their presence was not known. Should the Voinians know of the fleet's whereabouts and the base, the first mission could be a disaster.

"S1, you're in charge while I'm gone. If you find any intruders, destroy the immediately, alien or Voinian."
