Ooh, ooh! I got one!
I was peacfully piloting his Shuttlecraft, the S.S. Ridiculosity into the Telnan system to pick up a load of Medical Supplies, accompanied by six empty freighter escorts. As I entered the system, I heard the telltale WHOOSH, WHOOSH, WHOOSH sound of a bay being opened. A Crescent Warship? No, a Turncoat! In this horrible moment, I realized that I was piloting a Shuttlecraft, with three Blaze cannons! I turn around, but with no afterburner, I can't outrun the Kraits. My Escorts have luckily arranged themselves into a wall between me and the Turncoat. The first Krait's first shot are absorbed by the freighters, and then when it passes through, I opened up. Perfect shot! One Krait down. The next Krait to come through was luckier, and it took me a few extra seconds for me to bring him down, but in those seconds his pal was on me. I finished him off, but was down into my paper-thin armor. Allright, Turncoat boy, it's on now. Then I hear the sound of a Needle Launcher firing. A missles comes onto my screen, then expired. I managed to keep at the distance that the missles expired, and soon the Turncoat ran out of missles. I'm back in my shields now, so I draw near to the Turncoat. The escorts are in the way, so I give them the "hold position" command. I am preparing to Monty Python the Turncoat, when a Krait comes at me from the side! Quickly spinning, I take him out fairly quickly, but I'm back into armor. I pull up with the Turncoat, steadily firing my cannons, trying to keep the perfect distance, running like a squirrel when he gets too close. Eventually, he's disabled. I board and steal his credits, then I disembark and carefully dipath him from a distance, so as not too get caught in the explosion. Then I recall my escorts and land on Telnan. And that is the story of Samurai, the Shuttlecraft Pilot who took out a Turncoat.
