    • Yep. The only Voinian ship worthy of being called even decently fast would be the interceptor, which is as fast as a Zidara. I mean, the Voinian Heavy Fighters are as fast as a Crescent Warship. Still workin' on them stories.

    • I beat the attack the rock mission in a Crescent fighter. Don't beleive me? It had:
Dospect armor, engine upgrade, afterburner, 2 fuel tanks, Density Scanner+IFF Decoder, 3 swival phase cannons. That was one hard battle.

Yes, using small, light, fast ships can be a bigger advantage than large, tough ships. Nice job! Also, ESPilot, the interceptor would be an excellent vessel if it only had more shields and armor. The things are junk, but if they had the armor and shields of a UE fighter, they would be a menace with their speed and firepower.

    • Hmmm....I would tell about me conquering all of Azdgari's moons, but there isn't really anything to tell about. Sips his brandy All that happenned was the Azdaras flashed by and as they did I fired my phase cannons at full and they were dead in 2 seconds. So i kept repeating it and repeating it until I conquered all 3 moons. Boring ain't it? I at least get good money for it. 😉

What kind of ship were you in when you conquered the Azdgari planets...A Igadzra?

Yep. Good ol' Thunderwraith. Ever since I got 'er she's never done me wrong. I also had the SAE's and SAE laucnher removed so i could have Pursuit Missiles.

Hehe...Thought so. The Igadzra is the perfect craft for anything...From getting rid of fighters to taking over planets. A few minutes ago, I finally took over Earth and Luna. It took me forever, but I guess it "payed off." 😉 I was also flying an Igadzra fitted with Crescent Fighters and plenty of SADs, along with escorts.

    • Bah, Igazras, too slow for me. My Arada could take an Igazra down any day.....I think....hmmm, that sounds like a fun challenge! Although Igadzra and, I think Notil consider me a Good Egg, even after doing the Azdgari missions, I guess that is going to have to change! Be back soon with a good story! 😉

    • I've got another one, Stud. 🙂 This all happened about an hour ago...

I had been working around United Earth space for awhile, and finally collected anough money to go get me an Arada. I fitted it with four swivel phase cannons, shield generators, and other minor outfits. I then decided that I didn't like the UE anymore, 😉 so I decided to head to Bakka and start blowing up some UE vessels. (Sorry, I hadn't worked for the Voinians in awhile. 🙂 ) When I got there, surprise, surprise. There were two UE carriers, four UE destroyers, and a Voinian frigate. The frigate was almost instantly destroyed without any losses to the UE. I then fired at the Carrier, and got a ugly reply of ten fighters heading straight toward me. Fortunately, I had gotten some upgrades, so I could outrun them. After applying the Monty Python, I destroyed most of them and disabled a few. I then went after the Carriers, who were far behind the Destroyers, so they would be easy meat. The United Earth Carriers put up a good fight, but after constantly circling them, I was able to disable both of them while my shields regenerated from the hard hits from blaze turrets. I then destroyed them, which took awhile with phase weapons, but I had enough time to get rid of both of them before the destroyers got to me. Then, I went after the four UE destroyers. Fortunately, another Voinian frigate had warped in, so it had inflicted some damage on the destroyers, averaging about 60% shields. For ten minutes, I circled around them, turning every now and then to fire a bust of phase fire, replied with rockets and blaze weapons. By the time I disabled all four of the destroyers, I was low on my armor. After getting rid of the destroyers, I looked at my combat rating, and it had gone from "Average" to "Dangerous." Anyway, it isn't much, but it took awhile and I had a blast. 🙂

Oh, and then a krait warped in a blew me up. (J/K) 🙂

    • Yes ladies and gentlemen, Captian Skyblade experiences the power of an Arada. 😉

BTW, nice job! Taking out UE Ships requires a bit more skill, as with Voinians, they are too slow and are easy prey for fast ships. orders him another mug o' Saalian Brandy

Keep the stories comin' guys! 🙂

    • I was playing the dreadnought mission while I had my CW and all its upgrades. I brutalize everything in the area and am ready to take on the mother of all ships. I go around and around with my phase cannons slowly but surely deteriorating the dreadnought's armor. Finally after about 8 minutes the box around it turns gray and I disable it. Sighing relief I board the ship and take it's fuel and for the hell of it press "capture ship". The next things I see is  "Use as my ship" or "Use as escort". After sbout fifteen minutes of screaming out the front door I went back to my beautiful Macintosh and proceeded to whoop some serious ass. That was about four days ago and now I own half of the galaxy...

    • Maaaan. You guys get all the luck, while I on the other hand, have horrible luck with almost everything. sigh I at least have a better ship than the Thunderwraith. It's called the S.S. Overpowerer, and it's up to you to guess what it is! 😉

    • I guess that computer controlled Ardas are alot weaker then player controlled ones. I have a UE Destroyer and I've destroyed dozens of Adras with my 3 phase cannons.

    • Feast - WOW! You are VERY VERY Lucky! What was the capture percentage?

ESPilot - S.S. Overlord? I'll say either a maxed out Voinian Cruiser, or a UE Cruiser.

Duh, Warbeast, computer controlled aradas are like the kraits of the crescent. The Crescent Fighters have their speed, so I can't call them that. Computer controlled Aradas have nothing. The standard shields arent that great, nor is the armor. The armament is barely decent, and it's not that fast.

The reason I am so good and skilled in my Arada (don't mean to brag/boast) is because it is maxed out! 🙂

BTW, Skyblade - How's Dreden War coming along? Or am I a bit slow, and it has been already released?

No, no, no.Not Overlord , Over powerer. Although S.S. Overlord would be a good name for a UE/Voinian Cruiser or Dreadnought. Hehe, you're good to figure out what my is ship with a single guess, but then again, the name kinda gave it away. 🙂 And also, the Capture Rate for just about any sort of warship used in the Crescent would be 75 i think. I once disabled a Voinian Frigate and the Capture Rate was about 46%. For a Voinian Cruiser it would be 14%. How do I know all this? I've disabled each of the ships listed in the last 3 sentences. Now that's pretty logical ain't it?

    • Hmm....Once when I was in Terapin, I saw the V.E.S. Tartarus. I guessed it would put up a challenge, but I was already busy with an Igazra (this was in the Overpowerer) and when I finished it I was low on shields, but during the battle with the Igazra some blaze fire had hit the Tartarus, and it laucnhed say 7 or 8 interceptors at me, but since I was low on shields I landed while the Tarttarus was attempting an attack. Now I'm searching all over for the Tartarus to fight it!! Hehehe.

    • Well I have had a small encounter that was interesting to say the least.
Now after building up a hefty fleet consisting of 3 CW's, 2 Igadzra's and the NOVA III (Ue Cruiser)as my flag ship I was dominating everything in site. Taking over systems and blowing away the Bounty hunters and any other evil guys in my path; basicly every battle was a victory. I was Alied with the Igadzra at the time and that made the Azdagar my prime enemy.
I was flying around just east of Igadzra homeworld when a Azdara fighter named

      A.S.S Frivolous.
Jumped in with phase cannons hot.

It said "Don't take it personaly I attack everyone."
So with that my whole fleat converged on this one pathetic azdara.
      It was a "Frivolous" attempt.
SAE pods, SAD pods, cresent fighters, UE fighters and phase turret fire errupted onto the tiny bug of a ship.
Too Bad it had a shield recharge far behond any Azdara i ever fought! The most dammage we did was take it down to around 60% shields and in a split second he was back to maximum power.
Sad to say it was the one battle i had to lose. However if I had beat him it would of been grand!

    • Heh. I never underestimate the power of an Azdara. Speed can be your worst enemy, or your best friend. No matter how powerful your ship may be, a pack of Azdaras can be quite the battle for your slow moving hunk of weaponry. 🙂
