The Azdara is really a mistake in my opinion. When Ambrosia designed it, I think they wanted a fighter, that was so quick and maneuvreable (sp?) that it could dodge secondarys. And it would have to dodge secondarys because of weak shielding. What they messed up on, was the recharge rate. If the shield recharge rate was 10% slower, it would be a lot more balanced. When I look at the Arada, i compare it too existing ships around 1 million credits. The other ships are, the freight courier, the Turncoat, and the Miranu Freighter. The Turncoat is a very versatile ship, and I think it is equal to the Lazira in versatility, but it just doesn't have enough shielding and armor to be a viable ship. The Turncoat is a lot better in 1.0.2, and it is a decent warship. However, its too slow for my personal tastes, and although it has a lot of room for expansion, it just isn't practical. I would sell the fighters, but even then, with every upgrade concievable it can't compare to other ships of its class. The Miranu Freighter is a very good deal, and for a few more credits, you can upgrade to the heavy freighter. These ships are a steal, because they can simply rake in the money. However, much of EVO is combat, and freighters aren't combat ships. The Arada, is a fast, heavy fighter, that I think is perfect for fighting Voinians, and Warships. It has and extroardinarily large amount of room, 100 tons of weaponspace, and 40 tons of cargo. I usually get a mass expansion. I use space mines and neutron cannons against the voinians, and dospect and dispy rockets in the crescent. Its quality is based on its versatility, but I just can't see it being used extensively 1.0.2, because it has neither shields nor armor, to match its firepower. It is, at its best, a heavy fighter, and at its worst, a heavy fighter. I can't see it being used for much more than hunting renegades, or doing emergency missions.

I want a doughnut. A doughnut as doughnutty as a doughnut made of flour, water, one large egg, sugar, a pinch of yeast, cinnamon to taste, and jam or jelly filling, depending on preference. Its not a doughnut as something in any way metaphorical. Just a doughnut.
