I just re-d/l'ed it and tried to unstuff it. I got the same "data fork may be damaged" message. After I get the message, everything locks up. BTW: I'm using a Basilisk II emulated PC. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I did notice that what did get unstuffed was a .sit file. I wonder why it was stuffed twice: once with stuffit, then that stuffed file was stuffed into a .hqx file?

I assume you've downloaded plug-ins before, so you probably didn't have problems previously. But the thing is, most plug-ins are indeed "stuffed twice" -- though actually they're first stuffed with StuffIt, then encoded into BinHex or Mac Binary format.
Now I still don't know how you're running emulation -- are you running things off your actual hard drive, or did you create a virtual volume with HFV Explorer? I suspect this may be the key to all the problems you've been having, because I'm using a virtual hard drive, and I've had very few problems.
Of course, I don't know about the specific problem you're having...
