Well, some of our warships carry helicopters, but I think a full-scale aircraft carrier would be rather expensive for the Canadian defence budget, although in this post-11 September world of increased military spending, you can never tell. Our CF-18s are about the same as the ones used by the US Navy, which I would expect puts them on carriers, but the planes and pilots respectively aren't equipped and aren't trained for carrier-based operations, a fact which saved the government from having to decide whether to participate in the carrier-based bombardment of Afghanistan.
Of course, there's also the issue that it would probably take most of our air force to equip a single carrier.

I don't know the numbers, but Canada has a military around whenever it's needed, so it's not all that reserve-based.
