Im in the string for the Weave in which you dominate several planets. Right now im attacking Enyo Fuel Refinery and Ive killed the fleet in the system. Now I must dominate the planet for the next mission to become available. Well, it has a defense fleet that consists of the strongest ships that the empire has- some of which take over 60 torps. to take out. The problem is that the defense count is somewhere around 1705. Thats... impossible. It took 20 minutes to kill about 5 ships of the same types... Am I really expected to do this?

Yes... you can use certain EV engine cheats, but you have to do it!

Damn. I've been trying really hard to play an honest game... But there is no way I can do this. I've thought about it, and this battle would take hours, literrally. I'll bump down the number to 3 or something. One last thought: I have that Alien beam available at palshife for 10m... maybe ill try that baby out. >

Don't worry, that's only 70 ships. You can do it without cheating if you work at it.

Er... 70 is still a big number as far as the ships go in the Empire plugin. Thats like 40 Attack cruisers or whatever (re-named Dominators from FB) and a bunch of misslle cruisers and other evil little things. Ill try it i guess.

It gets worse. The final (I think) Empire mission for the Weave is dominating Earth. I went at it for an hour and a half before I got tired of it. You can buy a really powerful prototype ship for the mission, though, so it's worth it!

Dominating EARTH? Thats rediculous! Well, no way in Hell i'll be doing that. I can't even do Enyo. I just spent 20 minutes on enyo and I did almost nothing and died. Its impossible... No way am I doing earth. I'm cheating... of course, in this case its very easy to cheat. Im going to make the manta bay able to hold infinity ships and just deploy like 30 ships, so that they cant send out a defense fleet.

Haven't ever heard of a challenge. Oh and on one thing, the Weave side of the mission string was meant to be an 'alternate reality,' or so I veiw it; that's my thought on it so I'm not sure if Tim would agree with me on that or not. The reason why I say the Weave string is an alternive is because in E2: Dark Horizon the Empire won the war and the Weave Alliance was shattered. After that, the four races were brought back under the heel and one thing was made clear: The Empire is All, there is nothing else. In that plug, the true part of the Weave comes to light, but again that could just be my veiw.

Oh and Earth is very simple. Just remember one little fact: have lots and lots of space bombs.
