Ok Here's the deal

I was running the confed missions got the particle beam was waiting around for the alien missons, and then in some spaceport bar the rebel leaders found me and told me to be a traitor. Now under the impression that rebels are better (from all of your posts, and the fact that i can dominate any planet and the rebs don't care unless it is rebel) i accepted took out the Confed Frigate, and now i'm a role model in all Rebel places, and Most wanted in all confed ones.

Next i get the munitions misson. SO i go to ruby and do that. I return the munitions and now all i can find is missions where i deliver munitions (hehe that rhymes). What do i do now there has to be another step so i can get the cloaking device or tractor beam, or alien mission or something please help

Hang out on Palshife and other good Rebel planets and you are bound to get a mission soon.

I believe that the all the Rebel missions can be found on Palshife. I would suggest just jumping in and out of the system until you get your mission. It might take a while but in time it should show up.

Beware!!!

No, you have to get on the Rebels' good side before you get the good missions. To do this, KILL THE CONFEDS!!(Well, you don't have to; Kill pirates instead)

Try hanging around Sirgil as well. I think there's at least one important mission that's on Sirgil Starport but NOT on Palshife.

And I think that the first big Rebel mission (other than the munitions ones) is NOT on Palshife, because they send you to Palshife before they send you somewhere else. Try hanging around Turin, Clotho, New Istanbul, etc. as well.

If my memory serves me correctly (it's been a while since I did the Rebel missions), the first big Rebel mission is on Turin V. I may be completely wrong, but it's worth a try.

On Turin V, I got my first 'special' missions. Those with the foreman asking you to get industrial equipment and papers... I did like 10 missions in this vein, but I don't know if it's gonna help me with the 'rebel cause'.
The best one was when I got these bounty hunters after me, always with the Turin V missions.

Senso/Rezo

Sirgil is where the alien mission string will start. Only on sirgil - it will not be available in Palshife. Special Delivery to Levo (Special Ops Team) starts on many planets. I got mine on Clotho Prime, but Rupert, Alkaidon, Zaphod, New Istanbul, Turin V, Spica... well, just about anywhere that isn't 'fed will give you a chance of getting it.
