Hey, I'm just throwing in my $.02. Like I've said recently, if you want to do something, do it. If what you can do in SolarCell is satisfying to you, then by all means go for it. In my opinion (which I thought that was relaying), I think that SolarCell is pretty useless, so I don't use it. I'm not saying that everyone who uses itis going to make crap (though mine bloody well do).

Actulally I've found that if you play around with a planet for long enough in Lunar Cell you can get it to look preaty real.
But it is filtered. Your in a ship, in an artificial atmosphere (hopefully :)) , looking through a window or monitor at a star. And besides, nobody has ever flown a ship that near a star other than our own, so how, pray tell, do you know what it would be like to look at a star?

So, as we've never seen stars other than our own up close, why is it that we can say with authority that LunarCelled spobs look real? We only have experience with our one planet with an atmosphere that's habitable. What about all those pink Polaris planets (they were Polaris ones, right? I never played but the Vell-os thread)?
Not trying to be rude, just conversational.
