As for a TC, develop for EV would enable older Macs to run it, but that's about all the advantages, I don't need to tell you of the drawbacks. Come on, if you're a serious developper there is no reason you would be able to write an for the EV engine and not Nova's one, it's more complicated but not that much more.

I beg to differ. I probably won't ever register Nova, so I will never be able to make, or play plugs on it. I would consider registering only if the EVO TC worked on macintosh EV3.
I'm wierd in that the simplicity of the classic Engine used in EVC and EVO appeals to me. I prefer to develop in that simple way, even though it wouldn't be hard for me to learn how to use nova's new features and make some cool stuff. I don't think that nova is bad or anything like that, It just doesn't apeal to me.
actually, I wish ambrosia would re-issue Escape Velocity and EV Override in the Nova Engine. Devoid of the bugs that I've heard there are in the ports. Maybe Ambrosia could add new, improved graphics on par with the Nova graphics. The possibilitys are almost endless with the new engine.
