    • What secondary weapon do you prefer?

      Marinu Defense System — this is what I use. Get 4 or 5 launchers, and fly over the ship you want to hurt badly. Release the pods when you're on top of him. If the target is too fast for you, he's probably also not too tough to take out with only primary weapons.

      SAD — These are awesome... when they hit their target. Too slow to take out fighter craft, and big, tough slow ships are more easily killed with the MDS.

      Rocket Launcher/Turret — ewwwwwww.

      Hunter Missile — I'd rather have a rocket launcher.

      Needle Launcher — kind of like a primary weapon with ammo.

      Dispersal Rocket — If your ship turns fast, this is more useful than the MDS.

      Persuit Missile — I'd use these if they could hit their target more often.

      Mine Layer — I have yet to try this, because I don't have enough room! It looks cool though. 😄

      The problem with 1.0.2, is that homing weapons don't work. That said, I like Dispy and regular rockets. Especially in 1.0.2. If the Dispy Rocket had a longer range, it would be shweeter. A defense system, or mine layer is a must, especially against fighters. I once laid 2 mines, and together, they killed 4 azdaras, and did 30% damage against a Zidara. The best all around secondary is the defense system though.

      fav secoundary? don't got one, they all suck. it's all about main weapons.

      unless you mean EV then id have to say Nuetron Blaster or Mass driver

      Illegal space mines, oh yeah!!!! It takes a lot of practice to learn to fire them without blowing yourself up, but they are the best.

      I like to stick with my primary weapons using the Monty Python or having a BIG ship.... And weazle needs to look around more often and try something new... I used the minelayer once.... ouch, need more practice!! But those are the MOST POWERFUL weapon in the game!!! I should know...

      Rockets when fighting Voinians or UE. Dispersal Rockets everywhere else.

      Exception: If it's a really huge hairy battle with lots of enemy fighters,
      sometimes I wimp out and go with Miranu Defense Pods.

      A good rule of thumb is that whenever I am operating in territory where I
      can't land and resupply, I use whatever my opponents use, so that I can
      reload by plundering their ships.

      econdary weapons take up too much space on the Winston Churchill (unless they are needles, but they can get jammed) But on my fighter the Arada I packed a couple of mines, and i learned how to deploy them (curse those asteroids.....) now I'm the master......or maybe just below.....but they are nice......but the true best secondary is the Azadara bay, they hold quite a bit of fighters (6 I think) and if you cheat you can buy more......But cheating is dumb!

      Secondary weapons are no good. EV got the mass driver and the Neutron Blaster and both are so good. Missiles suck because they get confused or blow up to early in asteroid fields and they take often too much space to be effective. Escort fighters are good but the bay is often 50 tons in value so you need a good ship. So I go for the main weapons and the Monty Python technique....

      There are only two that I like. The plasma siphen and mine layers. The plasma is great for disableing voinion ships. Mine layer is fun yo drop mines over a planet hail it then demand tribute any ships they launch get blown to hell w/0 you needing to open fire. Short effective and funny, specily for the well defended planets or stations like the councile 🙂

      Hmm.. Miranü Defense pods are cool. I don't recommend the mine layer because in 1.0.2 they're illegal and you'll be fined about 50,000 Cr. (truly! 1.0.2 allows mission bits to be set when you purchace an outfit.) I can safely say that you're a newbie if you think SADs/SAEs are supposed to do that in 1.0.2. 🙂 Needles are also OK. Rockets are also pretty good, if hard to aim. Hunters sux0r. Dispersals are no good against voinians unless you have 999 of them, as they're only really good for eliminating shields. As for Persuits, (yawn).

      The Neutron Blaster and Mass Driver suck. In EV, the NB takes up way too much space, and because no ships have any kind of armour at all, the MD is uleless.

      Weazle likes eminem, but weazle also starts to talk in third person when really stoned. that is were i got it, my friends said i was repeating it several times when i was high once. this was 6 years ago. but yea i like that cd and i know what you mean. 🙂

      i thought it really funny when i herd the exsact same thing on the em CD

      um yea, secoundary sucks and yes i have tried um all. and iam exspert with mines. i can do the "monty python" withum and i know the after burner tactic with um too. but secoundary sucks
