I got to the mission where I am able to capture the Enhanced Arada, and I was wondering if I should. I know it's shield regeneration is very good, but I want to know if it's worth it to leave my UE Cruiser.

Totally worth it. You'll never have another chance to get it, and you also will have plenty of chances to buy a new UE Cruiser.

Of course. Just copy your pilot file first if you think you might have second
thoughts.
It's a very good ship, but not nearly as extreme as some would leave you to believe. Other aradas, if you get the enhanced shield generator, have similar
shield-charging characteristics. Still, you should try it, nothing to lose if
you copy first.
It's been a while since I flew this ship. I seem to remember something about
having a lack of weapons space...?
The shield recharge rate is much higher than any other Arada even with experimental and regular shield generators. The enhanced Arada, with shield generators, and 4 shield upgrades, Dospect, Adzgari, RCS, Engine, Turn upgrades, 2 Mass Expansions, and 4 swivel phase cannons, is the all around best fighter there is. I have literally sat between 3 Igazras, and not had my armor go lower than 90%. I have this Arada, 3 Igazra, 2 Adzgari Warhsip, and I'm going to try to get the Disco Bison.

I got the Enhanced Arada. And I like it. The only thing I don't like is that there isn't enough space for my tastes. Since it's more of a fighter than a warship, maybe I should go with cannons or swivel cannons instead of turrets. It's manuerverable enough to use them effectively. The shield regeneration is very nice. Had a Zidara and it's pair of fighters firing on me with their phase beams, my shields stayed at 100%. Incredible. Well, I'm going to modify EVO's data files a bit and make those available in the shipyard so I can get six Enhanced Arada escorts. That'll be a nice fleet. Too bad you can't modify your escorts ships, though. If I could, my fleet would be indestructable and would be able to inflict much damage. Image, Six Enhanced Aradas with Phased Distrubtion Beams... Also, it's very nice to have an Enhanced Arada with a cloaking device, the shield regeneration is so high, that within seconds of going into cloak, your shields are back up. And the problem of fuel is solved with the Extra Outfits plug-in. Get all the fuel regeneration upgrades and your fuel status will actually go up while in cloak. Great for planetary domination,

You're right, I played it this weekend and it was a lot better than
I remembered. Indestructable ship, once you put another shield generator
on it!

Absolutely. Why would anyone put a turret on an arada?
What is the Enhanced Arada? I've never seen it before.
