I keep on hearing (well, reading) people talking (typing) about these missions called the 'skiing missions'. Where do you get them and how?

The skiing missions are basically a set of boring misisons wher eyou help this guy named Calvin (or Melvin? been a while) set up a ski resort near the emalgha systems... the planet description says somehting about scientists and a lot of snow if you look for it. There is no action, just shipping things back and forth, trying to make deadlines. If you're already far in the game, I wouldn't recommend you going out of your way for these missions.

Actuely, there is some combat at the end of the string, but it's not much. And I ended up HATING the missions because I had a totaly AWASOME U.E. cruser with that extra room thing you get from the miranu plus the cloking divice and I had to buy a lousy courier to meet some of the deadlines, so I'm with Lunar2 in saying don't bother.

You go to the Kirrim system to get the missions, in the bar, you should find Melvin, who will want you to take a message somewhere. It's not a particulary exciting string, but, if you're early in the game and need some credits, go ahead.

I don't remember exactly, but I think it is more than 100,000, but less that 1 million. I think. But I might be way off.
