How doyou get it? I forget. It is a cheat but I want the full expierience of the game. It sounds like a cool ship too!

I've seen the data files for both EV & EVO and the Sattelite Of Love doesn't seem to exist in either...
Oh wait, I haven't registered. Maybe it does?
Never heard of this one. Where did you hear this from? And what does this "Satellite of Love" supposedly do? There are no hints of it in the resource forks so i assume it is not real, only a myth... but i could be wrong.

You type S O L at the beginning and you'll find it somewhere during the game. I've heard of it in EV, but I don't know if it's in EVO

"All will bow before the Icelandic Emperor."
"Join the Icelandic Coalition -- or be killed!" Someone should understand that.

Actually, you don't find it. At least I haven't in the past four years. From what I know it's a feature that was never actually implemented, like demanding "tribute" from ships (for lack of the correct term) and the full spaceport bar idea. That's it.

One cannot walk down an avenue, converse with a friend, enter a building, browse beneath the sandstone arches of old towns without meeting with an instrument of time.
Time is visible in all places.
Clock towers, wristwatches, church bells divide years into months, months into days, days into hours, hours into seconds, each increment of time marching after the other in perfect succession. And beyond any particular clock, a vast scaffold of time, stretching across the universe, lays down the law of time equally for all.
In this world, a second is a second is a second.
Time moves forward with unwavering regularity.
Time is an infinite ruler.
Time is absolute.

erg...if you even remember, I was making a plug-in involving all the members of the board in a civil war and you asked to be included... i completed the plug but never released it as it became obsolete when the board changed.

Heh I remember that. Wow and I'd thought everyone had forgotten me! Not that I was a super regular poster, but it's good to know 1 person remembers :).
Oh ya for the person asking about the SOL, I just remembered what it does. You do the typing in S O L as described above then in the system you show up in(or maybe another system, oh well I forget) there is a new station way far out called the satelite of love. I believe you have to hit 2 or 3 or 4 to select it. Though it's rather boring, I did it once years ago and it wasn't worth the effort. In the old(old old old one) EV site they had instructions on how to do it, but it's only for EV(as far as I know).

yes, there is indeed a Satellite of Love, or at least there was. It was in a plugin specifically meant for that ship (and a forklift as I recall!). However, I do not remember that plugin, so keep on looking if you get this message.
P.S., I remember having this plugin at one point, but I can't find it so I must have deleted it.

Satellite of Love is a MST3K reference, a fantastic tv show which is now, sadly, canceled. Hit your local video store and see if they have a copy of the movie. It's fantastic. Anyway, the Forklift ties in as well as one episode has a skit about killing people with forklifts. (Which was, also interestingly, picked up in "The Four Cheerleaders of the Apocalypse", a really bad sci-fi movie filmed in Grand Forks, ND. Hee hee. "Die you Sunday School b****!"
