Well, except that you can't make plug-ins and the system requirements are far higher than EV and EVO are.

I mentioned Station Terminus a few months ago, when it was being previewed on Mac Gamer's Ledge. If you've got the hardware, this looks like is could be a seriously cool game. EV multiplayer doesn't look like a happening thing, so parting with the cash to invest in Terminus might be a good idea if it you're really keen on that kind of multiplayer experience.
