OK, this isn't related to the previous "Stuck in Strand Mission" post.

I have to go to the Hrekka system and clean out all the renegades and return to Garit. I have done this more than 10 times. Each time I jump into the system the support fighters assigned to me show up as well. There are no renegades when I leave (not even one who happens to jump in when I'm jumping out). When I go back to Garit there are no further instructions waiting for me. The mission remains on my mission list.

I am getting nowhere. I actually have North Tip Station paying me tribute now because I got so frustrated with the scenario.

Any help would be great.

First of all, make sure the mission actually says to destroy all renegades ships in the system. If it does say that, what I would do is abort the mission and then go back to Garit and get it again. Hope this helps.

Do you have escorts? There is a limit to the number of ships which are allowed in a system at a time, and if you have escorts, then that limit may be exceeded.

Got it! I deleted the mission and started over. No problems. Thanks.
