I thought of this option. I could have set the flag to force the sprites to loop continuously. It would be a green sphere (from Ares) for maybe 30 frames, then explode (again, the Ares sprite) the last 6 frames. The only problem is how the EV Engine handles the frame rotation. It doesn't do it individually for each bolt, it does it for ALL the bolts at the same time. It wouldn't work correctly. Sorry pal.
Can't you just set the flag to make the sprite start on the first frame? I was reading the Good Book (read: the EVO Bible) and it said the the 0x0004 flag forces the animation to start on the first frame. That should work, shouldn't it?
