      Is it possible to capture one of those Azdgari Aradas with the super-duper shield recharge thing as my own and still have the recharger 😕? Can it be done with the Azdaras, too?

      Even so, it's not all that hard to disable ships with escorts not using the C key. If they are slow enough, you should quickly get away from them, then fight the ship alone.
