Um, no. Most of us don't have the Crescent Warship because we've purchased or captured better ships. Ships that have more speed, agility, shields, armour, weaponry, etc.
Case In Point: Igazra: Four shield capacitors, five phase turrets, layer of Bronev plating, layer or Duraplast armour (Whatever the other armour is), speed upgrade, RCS upgrade, thrust upgrade, rocket launcher and rockets.
So, I have around 80 more armour units than you, 250 more shield units than you, 30 more speed and thrust units than you, 30 more degrees per second turning, one more turret than you, and rockets (not a big deal).
Although this is just my personal preference in ships.
BTW: You said people don't have the credits. The base price of an Igazra is 15 million credits, just a few million more than your ship WITH all the upgrades you have.

One cannot walk down an avenue, converse with a friend, enter a building, browse beneath the sandstone arches of old towns without meeting with an instrument of time.
Time is visible in all places.
Clock towers, wristwatches, church bells divide years into months, months into days, days into hours, hours into seconds, each increment of time marching after the other in perfect succession. And beyond any particular clock, a vast scaffold of time, stretching across the universe, lays down the law of time equally for all.
In this world, a second is a second is a second.
Time moves forward with unwavering regularity.
Time is an infinite ruler.
Time is absolute.
