    • Customizing outfits

I'm wondering if you wonderfull folks out there'd like outfits that allowed ultimate customization of a ship, like outfits that shave off 10 armor units for some space, or some shield regeneration for space, etc.

    • No, I don't think that would work. For one thing, shield strength/ regeneration is not to do with space - it's to do with how much power is supplied to the generator. Also, armour is to do with the thickness of metal on the outside of your ship (ie the ship's body).

Going by these facts, the types of outfits you suggest wouldn't really be possible.

NOTE You can already get shield regeneration for space if you buy shield regenerators or complete the Azdgari (is that spelled correctly) missions and buy a shield generator or two.

    • Have some creativity here, Mr. Rodent. 😉 You can make an outfit that reduces armor or shields, and has negative mass. Think of the DD Downgrade item in Frozen Heart. I thought that was quite cool.

The standard cargo pod is essentially a mass expansion with the values negated. (Or is it the other way around? I forgot)

it's the other way around 😛

P.S. i think Gerbal320 just meant that it would be unrealistic if outfits like that were added, not impossible
