    • EVO 2.0...

well the other day I had a thought...That you could choos your gov. when you start a new pilot file and you would start on that gov's home would and you would be whatever race that gov. is. one problem: you would nee separate descriptions for each race like on voinia in the bar it refers to you as a human well...that would be different for each species. I truely hope it can be implemented into any future updates since it keeps me up at nigh...:-)

    • It is possible, you'd have several different data files (one for each race) and them go from there. You don't have to wait for an update, you can do it yourself, as long as you know how to make a plug-in.

I could probably do it, if I wasn't busy.

    • I probly could do it but would not have time (Or patience enough) to do it and would like it to be directly implemanted into the game

Directly implementing this into the engine is ludricrously difficult; I doubt Matt will use this already-suggested feature. OctoberFost's idea is tenable, though I fail to see why you would want to do such a thing

    • Another suggestion for a sequel to EVO would be to have a large list of possible missions, only a part of which would be randomly selected each time a new pilot file is started. This would keep the game play interesting for much longer. Some variability in governments and matbe even the map would also be interesting, but may not be feasible.

I tire of having to work with a new pilot for hours until I can get a good enough ship and some money to join an alien gov. of some sort and would much like tobe able to star a game with that species.

You could already do this too. Just have a big bunch of missions and most have them (besides standard cargo delivery etc..) a low probablity of being offered. Then have it so that once one mission string is accepted all the others won't show up.
