Besides Bryce for the backrounds of planets, what tools do you guys use to design 3D ships? This is one thing that has realy handicapped my creativity while trying to make a plug-in. Any suggestions?

If you're willing to spend some dough- $100 or so- consider Ray Dream 3D. That's what I'm using for ships, outfits, etc. I wouldn't buy it exclusively for EV:O, and it's considerably cheaper than other modeling software. Am I the only one here who uses it?

This question has one obvious answer! Get Photoshop 5.5, Mac OS 9 comes with Quickdraw.

But it's horrid at that, very limited 3D. I can beat Photoshop's arse if you give my a copy of the incredibly horrid, Wynblowz-like, terribly overpriced, impossible to use Lightwave.
