      I didn't suggest that reward, you did! 🆒

      (No, I haven't actually played M2, but the picture IS in the demo. I feel lucky.)

    • Actually it only costs $10, now. But no sack. Ya know what they say:
      You can't always get what you want,
      But if you try sometimes, you just might find,
      You can get what you really need.

      I am thinking about ordering it tomorrow, really a great deal. I also downloaded Aelph One and am ever so close to beating the first level, if that is even possible, but it still seems, weird. Networking doesn't work and such.

      Yes, but it's $7 shipping plus tax, for a total of about $18.

      If you're talking about the Infinity demo, Ne Cede Malis is the easiest of the three. Just wait until the third - Acme Station. You'll see what I mean...

      Also, if you've never played Marathon 1, (url="http://"http://bighouse.bungie.org/m1/")M1A1(/url) is very cool.

      Hurm, I was under the impression that shipping was free, alas. Oh, and consider the demo beaten, and not a moment to soon. :â•

      Well, technically I promised it to him before someone else gave him the karma point, sooooooo...

      (Kids, could you go in the other room for a moment? Uncle spamguy and Auntie Zelda are having a karma fight again. :))

    • Drat, you all beat me to it. I'd noticed that demo image more than a year ago, and it's so similar Bungie could sue Ambrosia if they wanted (God forbid, all those Microsoft lawyers :eek: ). Anyway, all three Marathons are the coolest shooters I've ever played. As for Aleph One, it's coming along slowly. Currently networking is broken, but it's got way better graphics and eye candy. Everyone check out the website! But I suppose you all knew that already.

      Don't worry, by participating in utter nonsense, you're keeping the Ferazel boards healthy and active. Like Richard Simmons.

    • Sinclair44, What is M2? I never even knew the picture was at the end of the demo.

    • M2 = Marathon 2 = Aleph One

      Oh, and by the way, Sinclair44's karma has been at 2 this whole entire topic conver- sation.

      M2 = Marathon 2 != Aleph One.

      Aleph One is an engine that can run M2 and MI (Marathon Infinity). It CAN equal M2, but not always. Like Square = Rectangle, but Rectangle != Square.

      And the karma updates after it was adjusted; when this started, I was at 1.

      Zelda gave me one for another topic, and spamguy gave me one for answering correctly here.

      (1 Zelda iKarma++) + (1 spamguy iKarma++) = 2 iKarma total. 🙂

    • Aren't we NOT supposed to talk about Karma? But seeing as our illustrious mods brought it up...

      Honestly, I don't know why I have all this Karma! I think everyone (mostly Zelda) was just too generous! (I recall one Karma point reason... "just because") However, if you really want to see someone with Karma, check out David Arthur.

      Thanks for the Perrier, Spamguy. (I should also thank you for your new signature line - I used it in a work context and now everyone thinks I'm soooo smart. Didn't tell all these managers and engineers that I'd gotten it from a website devoted to...umm...non-productivity.)
