The Tale of Xichra
Many years before Ferazel was born, the Habnibits lived in the forest as well as the caverns. The younger Habnibits were forbidden to go to the desert, fire caverns and ice caverns. There were mountains to the far west of the Habnibit people that always interested the young ones, but the adults made sure no one went there. There was one little girl who was especially fascinated named Archix, who had her own group of fiends and always stayed away from people. In Habnibit school she was made fun of because of her name, how she looked and what she did. She vowed to make their lives miserable but hey, how could she? She didnt know enough magic yet to do the damage she wanted. This is her story......
Archix and her group of friends walked into the forest to their secret fort. There were 7 Habnibits in her group and they all went in and took their special stunning sticks the grown-ups let them use for their tribe wars. Archixs group was called the Manditraki. It was a name made up by Archix herself. Tribe wars are little fights against forts in the woods. She knew their arch rivals were coming. There! one of the Manditraki said. Theres one of the Goblins! Archix saw one of the members from the Goblins run behind a tree. Get ready! She yelled. She and 4 others walked into the woods to attack when she got hit by a stunner. Archix went limp as the other 4 ran off after the Goblin member who did it. The leader of the Goblins, Frayer, stepped over to where Archix was as shouts came from the woods. So Archix we have you beat. he said. She couldnt talk but she could see and she had fire in her eyes. Its time for you to lose, he said as he kicked dirt on her. Oh, I'm sorry he mocked as he threw some rocks at her. Some of the stunning wore off but she couldnt move to get up yet. Sorry Archix he said as he kicked her. She looked daggers at him as he walked off. When the stunning wore off she got up and walked home, vowing to kill him.....
When Archix was 19 the war games were over and she had learned the Tri-Fire spell. Along with producing arrows and making rocks fall on peoples head. Her life had been miserable. She was made fun of in school and even her favorite Teacher Geroditus said she was doing poorly. Archix was starting to give up. The members in the Manditraki had grown to 35 even though they werent doing the fights. Instead they had been doing some cruel things. Archix walked through the woods with the Manditraki following. She knew where the Goblins were and they had Magic shields with them to block the Stunners, which they did not have, just their wands. Frayer called his members to assemble as Archix shot at their fort with the Tri-Fire and the others used various boomerang and Fireball attacks. The Manditraki charged the base, killing all the members of the Goblins. Archix went for Frayer. What do you think youre doing?! he said. Anything I want Archix replied as she threw Tri-fire at him; killing him. The burning fort of the Goblins stood there in the bright day as the Manditraki walked off, their next target was Geroditus, earlier Archix heard him talking to his nephew named Ferazel about her. Before they made the stop there the Manditraki put powerful magic on themselves. Archix changed all of her followers into hideous green goblins in remembrance of the clan she killed. To herself, she gave her self a yellow insectiod body with huge wings. She tried to change her face but couldnt manage that, so she wore a very real looking mask. She had become Queen Xichra, leader of the Manditraki. Xichra entered Gerodituss house and grabbed a dagger. Who are you? Geroditus asked. Your worst student Xichra replied. But not anymore. Geroditus stared shocked. Archix he whispered under his breath. You dont have to do this! he pleaded. Your wrong, I have to do this. its too late to change anything. I am now Queen Xichra, leader of the Manditraki. Prepare to die Geroditus Xichra stabbed him with the dagger until she heard someone coming. Xichra dropped the dagger and flew out the window as she followed the fires in the forest, where the Manditraki had been burning it. The Habnibits were now faced with the Manditraki.
