    • Taking Advantage of Shareware Amn.

I just got the news about the "any game for $10" deal. I've been using just about every Ambrosia game (some are registered!), but I've never gotten around to registering FW. I don't have loads of money, but I figured I'd best take advantage of this while I could. I'm seriously considering choosing FW to be my game of choice. Any opinions?

Ish. I'm sorry to tell you this, but apparently FW isn't on the list. The word is that Ferazel's Wand isn't considered shareware because they mail you the game on a CD. Apparently this offer is only for those people who have pirated? I'm not completely sure on this, but it is not for Ferazel anyway.

    • Irk. What should I get instead, then? Already have EV/EVO and Harry. Or should I still spring for FW?

    • A second reason might be that the liquidation sale on FW discs might still be in effect, and they might want to avoid two sales at once for the same item. All the sources I can find say that the reduction in price from $30 to $20 is "for a limited time only;" the Software Store even has it listed on one page as $30 and on another as $20.

If you want to check up on this, ask register@AmbrosiaSW.com. If the sale's still on, by golly, jump on it! 😉

    • Well, I'd get Snapz Pro 2, because it offers the best deal. (A $30.00 save!) But, if you want games, I'd get Ares or Cythera. Anyway, I hope you have fun with whatever you decide! 😄

    • Is it one game per customer, or can you get as many as you want for $10?
I'm thinking of getting Ares and Mars Rising.

    • I already have Ares, and I'd highly recomend it for anyone who doesn't already have it. The later levels (especially 13, erk) are particularly challenging. I didn't really like Cythera, though.

Back on topic, I'm thinking FW. Thanks for all your thoughts.
