I concur with another user's post, this level should be entitled 'End of my Wits'.
I've past all the disappearing mages, past the spikes that I have to climb up,
even past those lobster arms, now I've come to a great chasm that has a lot of springs.
It's impossible! I need help desperately. I've tried probably fifty times, each time trying to land on the springs correctly so I can cross the chasm, but the third vertical spring for some reason always bounces me downwards into the chasm. Is this a bug? I swear it sure looks like a vertical spring that has a platform pointing up and another on the obverse side pointing down.

It's VERY annoying, but you have to hit it just right. Try in the middle of the spring.

It's not a bug.

This is a well hidden save point right before the springs.
I recommend you find it.

First, before you start with the springs, just before is a row of xichrons. Try to get those and you should find a save spot.

Now that you've saved, go to the edge and jump down onto the "up/down" spring. Then go right and jump right over the 3 way spring onto the next "up/down" spring. Then go right again. As long as you don't touch any controls you will be bounced back and forth between the side spring and the lower springs a couple of times. About the third bounce you will be below the spring on the far right. GRAB THE WALL. Then climb up.

Takes practice, but once you've got it down you'll find the springs are the least of your problems.

There is a much better description of how to do this back in some very old posts, but I'm too lazy to go back that far...

There are basically two ways to do it.

First, you can bounce to the right off the first left/up/right spring, let yourself get bounced back and forth, and then hold right so you climb up the eastern wall.

The other way is to bounce off the second spring pointing right, bounce back, and aim yourself at the up/down spring at the bottom of the screen. From there, bounce to the right, bounce up off the second left/up/right spring and over the two left/right springs.

The first way is easier in my opinion.

Hi! I can get through every time in 3 sec by run jumpin to the three way spring. Then hit the right side of the next spring and hold left for a small bit. You should land right on the last up down spring! It works really eaisily for me.Good luck on the queen.
