Hi;

I'm working in the Western Reaches and found only 90% of the secrets. However, I did find a red button and an odd pillar that I can't get through. I tried using the statue spell and the fireball spell to no avail. I Spun Jump all through the level hoping to reach the area behind the red button but I didn't find anything. If anyone could tell me how to reach that red button, I will be able to find 100% of the secrets (I hope).

P.S. If my signature looks bad, please forgive me. I don't know how it will show up but at least it's small so it won't cause too much trouble.

It's been a long time since I played Western Reaches. But, I recall an area (to the west of the "ferris wheels") where I could blast into, but I needed an escape ring to get out.

I think the area you are at the red button is on the other side of an opening in the wall? (Can't blast through).
If this is the area - you just fire through the opening and when you hit the button it will depress and the wall lift up.

You cant get 100% the first time through. You need some stronger fire power, you will know what I mean when you get to it.

I hate to correct you, Kirsten but you CAN get 100% secrets first time through in Western Reaches, I think you're probably thinking of Eastern Reaches. Thank you everyone for your help. I did try to hit that button with my fireball but I wasn't hitting the right spot. I went back and tried again and the wall opened up right away. Thank you for helping me get 100% of the secrets. Now that I've completed the Western Reaches, the Eastern Reaches are next on my list of things to do.

I too have a problem with Western Reaches: I got 100% of everything, but I can't found the door for the golden key.
I've these things: fireballs, dagger, statue scroll, gold key, magic potion, xichrons; score is 55210; coins 322; saved the game 9 times.
So, if I exit this level, when I enter the game again, it just take me on the beginning !!!
How the hell do I finish it ?

If you got the statue spell you've gone through the door. When you get the statue spell just go up and that will complete the level. There is nothing (no other levels) beyond the Western Reaches - you have to go back to the Central Caverns and the Eastern Reaches to get to the other levels.
