    • New Name/Parched Earth

Hello, everyone!! It's me, JJimWWhite. I've re-registered to the name of "FriendlyGuy", cause I thought "JJimWWhite" was stupid, cause my name isn't even Jim, Jim's my brother. Why my screen name was that, I don't know... Anyways, if it would help you out and you're stuck on Parched Earth, you could e-mail me your saved game, and I'll beat it for you, keeping all of your items, including multi-crystals. That is, if you want me to. I've beaten it so many times, with my record being 2:02:?? to spare. If you want me to, anyway.

      Hello,

I have a couple questions about Parched Earth.

      1. I get to the end but I don't know how to open the door (or wall). Would it be open
if I make it there before the 5 minute mark!

      2. In that case, what would happen if I avioded starting the clock from the start by
jumping over the sign. That is, would the door be open as well.

Lastly, I have to say that for you to go through this level in 2:02 minutes (or even in less than
5 minutes) is pretty amazing. I don't see it happening with me yet. Any tips!

      Thanks

      Hi!

If you make it in under 5 minutes, then the door will open as you approach it. It will not open if you by-pass the timer altogether though. As for tips . . . practice, practice, practice! I hate giving that as advice, but it's a hard level to master. There are some shortcuts to watch for, such as the two areas where if you miss the cannons you can go all the way to the far left and jump into the cannon as it comes down. Also, there is the area where you can shoot a hole in the "ceiling" so you can avoid going under the quicksand. And don't try to kill or collect things when you're trying to beat the clock! You can always come back for those things later.

      Good luck! 😄

    • I just got through this level barely under 5 minutes, finally after wasting two days.
The trick about blasting through the roof helped MissNif. Thanks. Now, it is time to dig.

    • Congratulations on getting through Parched Earth! If you ask me, it's the most fustrating level in the game, closely followed by Ends of the Earth. Onward to the fire!!! 🆒

    • I am interested in knowing how to get through the level without losing crystals. Especially where you asend your charater past two mace balls to find a few goodies. I think I've tried everything. Shield. Spin down. Shift key. But all to no avail. I aways lose 2 cystals. Harumph!
