I REALLY need some help here...in the area right after you open all three pillars and then get through the doorway - at the end of this area there is another pillar to get through. I take it the red button is reached by going through all the cannons that are right there at that end. Here's my problem:

I only get two tries to figure out the sequence of the cannons. After that my sprite memory runs out every time. This isn't enough time for me. I always make it through the ones that you have to shoot yourself straight across, but when I try to go to the next one, I never make it right. Can someone tell me what the sequence is to get to the red button? I'm going crazy doing everything before that over and over only to get there and run out of memory. Can't wait to get to the next Save point just on the other side of that pillar!!! My hope is that I won't have to keep using the Tree Trunk spell after that Save point and I can actually continue on with the game...

If I know where you mean, there's a row of cannons pointed left, going up and down, right? At the end of that row (maybe four or five of them) there's a cannon that's stationary but rotates 90 degrees every half a second or something. When that cannon is pointed toward you (right) and the cannon you're currently in is lined up with the rotating cannon, shoot into it. You'll end up shooting upwards.

If you need help after that, tell me and I'll say more!

And in fact, after that last pillar and the save point is the end of the level, and once you're past that you will never, ever, ever need the tree trunk spell again!

Thanks, Rilla! Is the red button after that cannon or do I need to go on to the next two cannons to get to it?

I'm so happy to hear that this is near the end and NO MORE TREE TRUNK SPELLS!! Although - it has been interesting to watch little Ferazel get shot around in slow motion. . .

Well, after that cannon you have to head left a little to get into the next one, which shoots automatically upward. It's kind of tricky to get into the next cannon after that, which is moving left to right and pointing upwards. Just take your time; let the cannon you're in keep shooting Ferazel upward until you're ready. I think holding shift makes you move farther left/right, so you might try that if you have more problems...
