Okay - I REALLY want to be done with this level! I finally made all the jumps without dying (Thanks, Elizabeth!), got down to the doorway, picked up all the goodies and took care of the goblins. Ferazel is walking along happily knowing the end is near and I look down and see the Red Xirchon. After many attempts and much searching, from what I can see, there is another doorway I need to go through to get into the area where the Red Xirchon is.

:frown: I have this awful feeling that Ferazel is going to have to repeat all that jumping and go back to get the right doorway. How do I get the Xirchon?

Well . . . the only red xichron I found in Flash Freeze was right after those three long jumps. It's barely visible, and I had one heck of a time trying to get it! :mad: I finally gave up, but I still got enough xichrons to get into Ends of the Earth, so it's only mandatory if you're relentless about getting everything! I especially wouldn't worry about it if you get to Purple Haze before getting to Ends of the Earth, which I had not.

Thanks for the info - right after I posted that message I went back to Flash Freeze and lo and behold - there was the Xichron right by the door! I was able to get it without falling off the edge (which I can't believe considering all the problems those jumps gave me through this whole level). Wow - you got 20 Xichrons already - I only have 15 and I've already been to Purple Haze. I haven't spent much time in Hangnabit yet and still have If You Can't Stand the Heat to do (which considering all that's been said here on the Board I'm almost afraid to go there next)! Have you gotten to the end yet? I wonder if I'll ever finish this game!!

I knew that Hangnabit was a problem level that needs to be fixed in the update, so I basically just flew over to the other side getting as many xichrons as I could without doing much maneuvering! I also just tried to avoid everything in that level! Other than that, I'm trying to kill Xichra now. I'm going to start from scratch when the update is released. I'm somewhat not looking forward to that since some of the levels were much less than desireable! :eek:

For getting the red xichron in Flash Freeze, you need to know three words:

tree trunk spell

Just build up a small stump somewhere after the series of jumps, and it will be no problem to get.

You know, I must have been meant to be blonde or something ;), because there have been several places where I got my panties in a bunch when I could have just used the tree trunk spell! :eek:
