Anything you have to say about the original EV

We don't get enough topics on this board, so this is a combination of all. If there are any tips, hints, cheats, or just stuff you want to say about EV, just write 'em here.

Playing EV the old fashioned way is fun, but, on occasion, whipping out a cheat plugin and pumping up an Alien Cruiser to just go around destroying everything.

Cheat plugins are fun. Alien cruisers too.

EV is the most awesomest fun ever.

I liked that plug-in that added more Antinoda ships or whatever. Cool s###.

I remember playing The original escape velocity on my old mac I got for free years ago. It was like, version 1.0 or 1.1. No plug-ins or cheats of any kind. I had an old demo disk that came with the computer, and tried out most of the hundreds of games on it. EV was waiting in there somwere.

I never did get internet hooked up on that computer, so escape velocity plugs were out of the question. Then the computer died after a few years of use. ;_;

I still play the original ev port on windows quit a bit.

I have never actually played EVO or EVN. EV ftw!

Too bad, EVO stock scenario is by far the better game of the three.

I'd like to say that I kicked EV in the pants. I captured everything except (of course) Sol, Palshife, and Ruby. I also got over 100k per day for tribute and had a full escort of Rebel Cruisers. Sadly, I moved on to Nova and do the same thing of capturing everything and everyone. Please don't hate me for bragging. :unsure:
