Mackilroy says, "If you have trouble spelling my name, simply say 'Mack,' instead of Mackilroy. It takes up less space, too."

      Makilroy = New Cade !?!?!?!?

      Nah, couldn't be...

Cade smiles at DEs post. He decides to post, even if he originally only intended to ask Dash of Boozerama plugs progress. After who-knows-how-long-time. Cade says that his reputation still carries with him, even if he hasnt done long story posts in most long time.

Cade also asks Dash_Merc if he has gotten progress with the Boozerama plug. In a time long enough that Cade cant even remember when he has posted last, Dash better have some progress.

    • Mack flushes DE and Jimbob in the tainted root beer pool again. Just to exasperate DE, he decides to make an moderately long post again. As Mack views Cade's exit, he decides to point everyone to Begemotike's Resistance page, where they can learn how to defy the Ambrosia Juggernaut.

      Mack gets a root beer.

    • I told you I lost all progress on the plug, and offered for anyone else to take it on themselves...

I just got a mac from my dad, so I'll run Classic, and plug it for you all, since we all pretty much hate the EVN Classic TC plug (which is what I've been confined to for this whole long time.

Tonight, I shall get EVN and EVNew back from my wingmate so I can finish the Boozerama Windows plug.

I also extended the invitation to anyone long ago to make their own Boozerama plug, as it would negate my doing it. Besides, maybe if someone else starts making one, I'll get back on it, for the chance of competition, who knows?

Oh, and it'll take even longer now, since my mom threatened to pull me from my school and either home school me or send me to the public high school across the street...therefore I have to work my ass off to pull straight A's, or as close as possible to that so that I don't end up back at home with no computer on which to do the plug in the first place.

The progress on the EVN plug is as follows, last I remember:

One basic mission, and all the characters (you guys) who requested membership in the plug.

Oh, and our own planet, replacing the NGC-1701 system (I decided to pull out the rather obscure reference to Star Trek, and just Name the system Boozerama and give us our own planet.

It's pretty neat, too, because there's ALWAYS fighting going on there, and occasionally the planet and the security forces kill the player for no reason at all. Pretty random, eh?

I only hope that my wingmate kept the plug file as well as EVN itself... Or else I'll have to start over.

Oh, and does anyone know why EVNew won't let me make my own ships with my own graphics? I swear I'm doing it right, but it just won't let me.

I wanted to put in an obscure reference to Independence War by including the Dreadnaught class Corvette in the game...but the import graphics thingy doesn't work in EVNew...

So yeah, I'll get back to work soon, but RL comes first now. I have a girlfriend, and homework, and the threat of having it all taken away from me to stop me from putting the plug first. Sorry guys, but that's the way it is.

      <EDIT>
Oh, and if somebody wants to take some stress off of me by creating all the story threads (it would take me a while, seeing as I'm not too good at those) to go in some companion plug, Please go ahead. My email is Adrian.Prestemon@students.conserveschool.org, please contact me, and We can collaborate on the planet coordinates/name/number, etc, whatever's necessary in a rez thingy... (just so you know, this is all for EVN's version of EVC, not the actual EVC...the real EVC plug will happen this summer, or possibly never, depending on whether I actually get my mac running...)

Hey! I am not leaving yet! Im making 1 random post at DE for old times sake. Cade throws a cream pie (the classic joke) at DE. He laughs with a thunderous voice that is so loud it is heard trough the whole station. "DE, you look stupid. Did you accidentally fall asleep while eating pie? Youre such a messy person. "

Mack: But he had to do it because he explained the state of his plug! 😄

    • Dash is pleased to see all the free entertainment.

In fact, he is so enthralled by the pie-in-the-face that he jumps for joy, right into the acid pit!

Cade: Thanks for understanding...I should get the program and stuff back soon! I just have to get my wingmate to actually remember...maybe the weekend...hmm...

The mostly lifeless body of Dash floats to the bottom of the acid pit as it is slowly devoured by the acid.

      mmm...acid...

Now by mostly lifeless, I mean that something jumps out of my chest cavity just before the ribs start to disappear...it's acid resistant, slimy, snakelike, and its face vaguely resembles that of Richard Simmons.

This thing leaps out of the acid pit and begins devouring every table in sight, then it goes for the chairs, then the pillar, and finally the reactor in the bar.

Big explosion, lots of randomness, death, acid flung everywhere, planet dissolves, spaceships impaled by bits of acid-ridden debris, and the snake-thing is flung off into space to await some unlucky passing ship or small moon to get into its path.

Of course, everything regenerates, and it is as if nothing has happened, except for the bite marks inside Dash's chest...

I know, I know...I was simply trying to aim the carnivore that is DE at another hapless target. And I congratulate you for being the first (besides me) to use the shortened version of Mackilroy.

Dash : Ahh...I see now. An Alien, right?

thinks Dash has watched AVP four too many times

Congratulations, DE. This bar is the only topic anyone posts in anymore.

      Mack gets a root beer.

    • DE slams Cade into the acid pit for old times sake. DE cleans his face and gets a root beer.

    • emainiac pulls out a Flame-thrower and roasts all of the patrons of the bar.
As they run around screaming on fire, i sun (well, flame) bathe and get a nice crispy tan.

    • Mack picks up emainiac, and throws him outside of the bar, into the cold snow, where he is stuck for three months until he has lost his tan. Mack laughs, and gets a root beer with DE.

    • But I still have my flame-thrower! I stuff a snowball in the end, come back into the bar and shoot a flaming snowball at Mack. It hits him and he dies from utter confusion.

    • Mack regenerates, takes emainiac's flame thrower away from him, gives it to Rickton, and watches as everyone in the bar subsequently pulls out anything from Colt .45s to BFGs. All of the patrons take aim at emainiac, wait for DE's signal, and when he says "FIRE!" all of the weapons in the bar blast emainiac, who is now vaporized.

Then everyone left in the bar dies when the fire hits them.

    • Nope, never seen AVP. I think I saw one of the Alien films once upon a time...

      Interesting how this happened:

My dad was watching one of the alien or species films on tv one night, while I was playing EVC on his old beige.

I stopped at blackthorne station for an hour or so (real time) to watch the movie, and then I went back to playing EV, and as I left the station, something weird happened...the space around me was empty...no escorts. They had all abandoned me through some unknown game glitch.

Later that night, I had a dream where I was running down the main corridor of my spaceship (at that time, an argosy), being chased by some alien thing. I awoke the next morning feeling calm and refreshed.

At breakfsast, I found out that My stepmom had found me cowering in the corner of their bathroom at night, screaming bloody murder.

The bathroom is down a hall in my dad's hall, stemming from their bedroom.

I guess I had run down the hall, fleeing from some made up creature in my dream, and proven that I do sleep walk occasionally. Interesting...

Now on to a shorter post:
I got EVN and EVNew...turns out that my plugin is no longer there. Damn. I have to start over a fourth time! Everyone email me at Adrian.Prestemon@students.conserveschool.org with your preferred ships, quotes, weapons, outfits, colors, affiliations, subtitles, escape pods, AI preferences, etc.

I'll get right on it, for sure!

    • Oh....

Mack gets a root beer, and sits back to watch the e-mails fly.

    • That's pretty awesome, Dash.
Then again I happen to find dreams extremely interesting.

Cade gets revenge for old times sake. 😄 😛 Cade introduces him to the Red Alert 2 superweapon, Weather Storm. Suddenly, the whole sky goes blues as a huge amount of lightning bolts strike in quick succession. One of the bolts hits DE, severely wounding him. Then the lightning storm hits the places inside, including the counter where the drinks are served and the lounge. A angry mass of people comes after DE and kills him. Cade exclaims "Lucky that I have connections with the Allies in Red Alert 2. " Then he sips some Saalian brandy.

Dash: Aye. Will send the specifications today in mail. Ill have to dig them from a old thread first... if I only remember what thread it was... :S Boozerama plug pre-board switch?

      I believe so...
The search function works on this forum, right?
Half the forums I'm in have unworking search functions...

      <EDIT2>
      Cade:
I found an email you sent me with what you'd like...
Please still email me with anything you want, as it would still be helpful, but just in case you forget something, I have the email.

      Thanks!

Dash jumps into the acid pit dressed as phantompenguin, just for old times' sake...
