Ooh, nice move. I wonder how many people caught it?

      Smooth.

    • Here's a pilot of mine. I don't think it is my maxed out pilot, but I have a ton of them, and I did not want to go through them all.

Hey, if you have a Photoshop type app, you could have a really interesting pilot. I'll see what I can do to "improve" your pilot a bit, and post the modified pics as examples. This can be a really fun way to impress your friends.

Edit: OK, here's the new pic.

I do have Photoshop, and I did consider doing that. I figured I wouldn't lie though. Awesome pic though.

I don't really understand the NEED to have a billion of anything. It's just a nice big number.

I would rather focus on the game play, I guess.

What if someone NEEDS to apologize for, oh, I dunno, let's say really bad timing, would a billion be too much?

    • Actually there are more than one way to do some of the "crazy" and "improbable" things that you claim. I've also taken over every planet before, but in a different way. I've done just about everything listed here, and more. Some of it was rather pointless and just for fun.

As for posting a pilot, give me a couple of days, I gotta start playing this game again, it's been way too long. My old pilots got chucked out the window with my old PowerPC.

But I agree with you wondergirl, I've always played the EV series to just have fun and enjoy the game.

    • Too true WickTown, the game does have it's limits. But you have to try new things, like the very feeble attempt to capture and militarize a Confed Escort. That ship may even be worse than a shuttle. But it's been awhile since I've played, so I'll try to think of other things I've done as I play.

Taking over planets is rather easy when you exploit the game's limit on the number of ships in a system. Simply get 6 Rebel Cruiser escort, and a cruiser of your own, and demand tribute. When all fighters are launched by escorts the ship limit is nearly reached. Then try to launched your own fighters, they won't after a couple because the limit has been hit. Then as the defenders die you can launch your escorts by holding the secondary fire the whole time. When all defenders are dead in the first wave they can't send anymore and you demand tribute again before any ships dock. The station is yours.

Plus you can get the Alien Cruiser. And I always play legit, no cheating, editing, or plugins.

    • Actually WickTown it is cheating because you only need to kill a handful of ships to get a planet. I've only done it once to take over every system in the game. That pilot has long since been lost.

I prefer the challenge of trying to take over everything the hard way. My pilot right now only has a couple of systems taken, you know the easy ones.

    • Make the Guiron system the next one on your list. Kestrels, illegal armor/shields, and just a few Mantas in the fleet.
