You're a 'Fed, you're not worthy of being the best pilot.
I also think you cheated (or using a plug to manipulate the game to work in your favor), for the following reasons:
1.) All planets dominated. B******t. I took over Earth once myself, but I cheated completely, and it still wasn't easy. I then made the Takeitover Package (a cheat) for taking over planets. You have all the other super power planets to worry about along with Earth (Ruby, Satori, etc.).
2.) 1.6 Billion credits is the EV max. I cheated to get up there myself. I think if you were to really do it, you would have had to spend years at a time completing all top paying missions like UGE. Not likely.
3.) 6 Confed Crusiors? I've captured one in a Kestrel once, under sheer luck. The odds were 1%. I doubt anyone could do that 6 times.
4.) 28 Hawks/Patrol Ships in your Fighter Bays: I've found ways of easily capturing Lightnings for their bay (I had about 18 once, after working at it for a few days), but it cannot be done under normal circumstances. I believe you can only buy two hawks, and 4 patrol ships for the bays. If you tried to capture them, it would be hard to do it with the tractor beam because these ships cannot be disabled. You could capture patrol ships from a Crusior if you were fast enough in disabling it that it did not have enough time to launch all its ships. But that could only really be done by cheating. You could not even acquire hawks that way, unless you ran around the galaxy seeking out the Ambrosia team.
5.) You can't own all the weapons and outfits under the space of a normal Confed Crusior. I've owned one, and there isn't that much space available. When you add it up, hawk bay (50 tons) + torpedo launcher (25 tons) + missile launcher (10 tons) + space bomb rack (30 tons) + mass driver (40 tons) + neutron cannon (30 tons) + proton/laser turrets (50 tons combined) = 235 tons alone. I didn't even mention half the outfits you could get.
6.) Completion of all the missions? You couldn't. You can only side with one government of each war. I tried doing it, but there is only one alien crusior to kill.
7.) Your affiliation cannot be neutral if you have taken over all the planets like you claimed. A fake ID will not clear that up.
8.) Face it, you died. If you didn't, and continued by using an escape pod, you would lose money from the ship you were in (Example: 2 mil lost if you are blown up in a Corvette), which would definitely slow you from reaching the max of credits.
A small word of advice, don't advertise for other forums here (unless you're EVula).
Welcome to the boards by the way. Your pilot is too good to be true.
(Edit: Language removed for the children's sakes. :))

Patrol Ship Bay: 28, it's friggin' insane when you look at a my fleet just cruising like what with 63 ships, yet it sometimes slows down the game when they're all out of my bay just like it does when your escorts send out all of their patrol ships.View Post
You can't have a fleet of 63 ships cruising in a system. EVC maxes out at 36 ships in system at one time. That includes you and your escorts. Sorry.

1. First, please watch your language: there are children that visit this site. Second, there are only 2,276 ships in the Earth defense fleet (there can't be any more). It's not really that hard to take them all out, it's just very time consuming. If you really want to try it, just take a break every hour. You'll dominate it eventually, provided you don't die. This applies to all of the other planets as well.
3. Again, doable, but time consuming. It might take me a day to capture six fed cruisers, but probably no more than that. I've done it from inside a Shuttlecraft. You just need to be quick when using something as weak as a shuttle.
4. You can disable a fed cruiser before it has a chance to launch any fighters, it just requires a lot of torpedos hitting at the same time. Rapiers and modified Corvettes are excellent for this.
5. True, and not only because of your reasoning. You can't get both the Particle Beam, and the Tractor Beam. It doesn't work. Nor can you have the Particle Beam and the Cloaking Device. These things just don't work. I'd also like to see your Heavy Fusion Beam (yes this is possible, and I can tell you how)
8. You can't tell whether or not he died. It's not that difficult to survive, especially once you have a good ship; and even if he did use an escape pod, it's not that hard to regain the lost money. Just steal a few lightnings and sell 'em.
All this being said, I'm sorry WickTownEV, but your pilot is too good to be true. Destroyer E has made some very valid points.

Also, Bob, you said that you can only have a limited amound of fleet member deployed at a time, that's true, BUT there is a plug that allows as many as you want, which isn't cheating, as I did that after I did everything just to see how cool it would look, besides, it wouldn't have been usefull, anyway, because as i said, it slowed the game down. Anyways that doesn't change the fact that I have 63 fleet members.
View Post
Which plug is that? I must know. I want it. It would have to alter the code of the EV engine to allow more ships in system at one time. Can you post a link? I want to study this plug.
P.S. I never doubted that you had 63 fleet members. That's not impossible at all.
P.P.S. Do you want to know how to get the Alien Cruiser's Heavy Fusion Beam? If so, send me a personal message (Or look at the "Obscure EVO Facts" board (no, this isn't a plug for the board or anything, it's just where he can find the info)) You won't be able to keep it after you land, but you will have it for a while. The bonus is, you get to keep an Alien Cruiser, which has an absurd amount of health and fuel. I can't remember how much space it has on it, but, if you do the fed string, you'll have an essentially limitless fuel supply for your Particle Beam.

Sorry if I sounded touchy in my last post. If I did, it wasn't on purpose, though I am arguing against your pilot.
1.) I just reread my topic for taking over Earth, and your method may be plausible. Read these quotes from my topic:

Have you ever noticed, when you kill all their defence fleet in one hit, they dont send any out untill you demand tribute a second time.

Actually... The defense fleets of planet do not instantly recharge. They slowly build themselves back up. This is something that I found out from Matt Burch just recently.

These facts make your story more believable. The fleet would still rebuild, but slowly. I think that taking a trip to Ruby would allow a lot more ships to be produced. Some EVers consider this loophole as cheating though. I guess that's up to you. A problem that I do see in this plan is the fact that it only took 2 - 2.5 hours. It took me 8.5 hours when I did it, and that is without taking trips halfway across the galaxy, and with the Frigates being destroyed instantly. I realized after I did this that I could have done it in half the time if I had used the 2X feature. That would still only bring me down to about 4.25 hours.
2.) That clears up a little. The most I've ever received from tributes is 95,000 credits a day. However, if my math is correct, it would take 10,455 landings to reach the credit max with that tribute, which would be about 9 hours to do by landing alone. I want to hear about this method you mentioned about getting 1 million credits a minute.
3.) I must have taken many attempts to do this, but it seems plausible. You still would have to consider taking down any other Confederates in the system as well. I'd lose disabled ships because the weapons I'd use against any others would hit the disabled ship. If you use space bombs, that's never good.
4.) Once again, that must have taken many attempts (considering you had to capture all those ships. The patrol ships sound plausible, but the hawks do not. I tried this before, and all I got was a "Can't have any more" in the outfit ship.
5.) Okay, I think that could work. Though now you mentioned that you do not have all the outfits.
6.) Okay, that sounds right. I've done the same then.
7.) The peace must be tough to maintain though. I remember the independent planets utterly hating me because I took over most of the galaxy.
8.) Paying off, I'd never!
I think that if you want to be considered the best pilot, you should use any plug-ins and stick to the original game.
You sound like a pretty good pilot now that I understand most of your methods more clearly.
I'll have to post my pilot stats later (this means digging up my pilots). My Rebel Destroyer is known for outsmarting Confed Cruisers though.
You should also use the edit button to add into a post, instead of posting multiple times. Doing this can anger mods sometimes.

Something like GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) or Graphicconverter. GIMP is free, and GraphicConverter is shareware, and makes you wait while you fire it up.
My best EV ship:
Rebel Destroyer. You can't catch it with missiles. Its shields are solid enough that you can take a missile or three if you see something that just has to be done and there's something in the way. You can put enough turrets on it to go toe-to-toe with most ships. You can put enough secondary weapons on it to wipe out just about anything big that gets in your way.
Then there are planets like Atropos that send out one-ship waves in their defense fleets. Plain old protons and rockets will let you regulate the attack of a defense fleet.
The space bomb trick doesn't work well with Confed planets. Patrol ships and gunboats have different death delays, so they stagger and you can't control the respawn.
Everywhere else, though... =D. And I have memories of dropping space bombs on Akio, backing away, and watching Mantas fly explosively in four directions, so not just your tactic.
Also, three will do it for Rebel destroyer fleets, and one for Manta/Defender/Rapier fleets. A big monitor helps a lot. Rocks have more room to move around, and you have more time to back away.

WickTownEV... please don't continue with the immediate double posts! You can add to your original post, by clicking on the EDIT button just below your post. Then at the very bottom of your text type something like:
EDIT: blah blah blah

Pilot name: Gage_Stryker (one of many)
Ship name: Dominator
Type: Rebel cruiser
Rating: Ultimate
Planets Dominated: All
