Is the Tome of Elixers in the cave right next to the Tomb you use to get to High Garendall? If so, there's a big gate at the bottom that I can't get through - how do I do that?

Or is it the cave that is way up and west in High Garendall?

P.S. I've gotten over my frustration with the higher-level parts of the game, for now at least. I just loaded up on like 50 healing potions, and the Dwarven Runic sword is helping I think. Yes, I get pounded on a lot, but I pound back, and life goes on.

It's not the cave with the gate but the one higher up.

I'd use the axe you should've won in a dungeon instead. That's the best weapon.

I haven't found the War Axe Misery yet - should I have? I heard it was down south by the Keep, and I haven't had any reason to go down there yet...
