    • Tome of elixirs, help!!!

I'm really having trouble getting the tome of elixirs. I suppose it's in the cave in High Garendall, but in the second level of the cave there are monsters that take away over 50 poits of my strength in just one blow! What kind of armour or weapon should I use? I am a night at level 21, and my armour is 108. And I use the elven bow of destuction. Please help me!!!

...and, please excuse my poor english...

    • Hmm... the minotaurs?
      Never gave me any trouble.
Tip of the day: Don't get caught with your shield down

With a bow might be challenging, I've never really used one.
I just walked up and duked it out.

As you've learned, those guys HURT when they hit you.
      Therefore, don't get hit.
Use your Z key and a melee weapon.

This is really the sort of thing for which words are of limited use, only practice will help you get the swing/block/swing/block timing perfect.

Once you've got it down you can take on anything though.

I beat the stuffing out of the Guardian that way.

(And yes, the tome is in that cave)

Your english is much much much better than many people I've seen.
You just made a few misspellings.
      poits - points
night - knight (night is also a word which sounds the same but has a (url="http://"http://www.dictionary.com/cgi-bin/dict.pl?term=night")different meaning(/url))
armour - armor (with a u is the pansy brit spelling 😛 )

    • Thanks!

I'll work on my blocking and swinging timing. And my spelling!

Agreed with Kanddak, your English is good.

armour - armor (with a u is the pansy brit spelling )

Armour is correct the correct spelling in English language.
<sarcasm>English being the language of England.</sarcasm>
If you want to check your English then don't ask an American.

Some Americanisms make sense which was the original purpose of changing the language, but it is imposible to make consistent a language which is by origin made up from so many others with different gramatical rules.

America to all intents and puposes now has its own language and is as different from English as say Norwegian is from Danish is from Swedish - pick your favourite two scandinavian languages.

Assumed that Kanddak is American by his suggested spelling of armour (armor) and his use of the derogatory term "brit". There is not many things more annoying than a language-arrogant American.
